Lived here in Castroville for 55 years and this post office will always be my favorite!

The parking lot has somewhat difficult access and not many spaces. Lots of convenient street parking is a better option.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! The woman in the photo is terrible at treating clients, it is the first time I have gone to that office and it will be the last. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and she did not want to give me the form that is filled out to process a passport because according to her I had to bring it already printed from my house and with an intolerant and rude attitude she responded to any doubt or question.

I didn't have an appointment but drove to get my passport. The clerk helped me anyway. I had all my paperwork and copies ready so all I did was take MT picture, pay and go. In and out in less than 15 minutes. Only negative is they didn't show me my picture before and I hate it!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!! The only reason why I sometime still continue to there, is because I live in Castroville and its convenient for me when I'm running late. But every time I go, the lady who wears glasses is extremely rude, not just to me but to everyone. All I needed was for something to get scanned, not only does she refuses to give me a receipt, which at this point I stopped asking for one, but she didn't want to scan my item till SHE wanted too. There was only one person behind me, and yet no. So, I waited until she did. Then she finally scanned it. This service is unacceptable. Going to call customer service and complaint.

A big shout out to the ladies, who helped us get our passports taken care of, after we were turned away from Aptos post office with an appointment mind you. Their reason being that my son(16 years old) whom I have guardianship of, needed proof and paperwork of the guardianship. We were turned away and had to reschedule and were greeted by super helpful and super friendly ladies at the Castroville post office, who told us that since he is 16 years old, he is considered an adult when it comes to passport and none of that paperwork that Aptos was requiring was necessary. They did our paperwork and sent us off and even took us before our appointment all with a smile. Thank you so much ladies.

Despite all the negative comments, customer service was good. Picked up my package no problem.

I have no complaints with the mail delivery, none. But, I avoid the office at all costs. I have been in there numerous times over the last few years and they have always been consistently rude with others, and myself. I go the the Moss Landing post office where they are very friendly and never have they had an attitude. They have only been courteous. So now the best place to complain is to a regional USPS where there may be more senior management.
