Very bad experience shopping at this Chinese market. Bought a Durian cost $80 as non refrigerated fresh fruit. This Durian is not close to ready to eat after open. I called and ask to talk to owner and said owner not here. The store associate is very rude and sounds like is my fault not putting the Durian on the side for period time wait till ripe. I ask for refund and denied my request. Over all experience there price are slightly higher compare to most Asian market and which is fine if you get customer service. Be aware and will not ship here from now on.

We came here to get a few BBQ items. Grabbed some fresh oysters, meat, vegetables and a melon. We grilled the oysters, and they were all fresh, Huge, and delicious. All of the oysters were viable and alive, and my 7 year old chomped them down. We grilled the gigantic scallions, which were sweet and delicious. The melon was cruchy, yet sweet and juicy. It's nice having a small but nice market nearby.

Store is small and parking is difficult despite it offers a wide variety of groceries. After a couple of visits, I feel like it doesn't worth all the effort of trying to get here.

The perfect little market for Chinese foods. Inexpensive products.

Been coming here for years for their crabs but the old gentleman tried to overcharge me medium size crabs for the price of large ones. I had just purchased some 2 days ago so I know the prices but he's making up prices I feel like. Will never give them my business again.

Customer Service is very bad. It might be the crew members are having a hard time everyday. I would rather go to 99 ranch for better shopping experience.

On the Boulevard (Castro Valley Blvd that is!) on my way to Portillo's. Everyone knows that the parking is tight in that part of CV Blvd so I was blessed to have found an open parking spot in front of Mei Mei Market. The inside is small and packed with a lot (A LOT!) of Asian (Chinese) goods/groceries. Their produce selection was small but quality. I can say the same for their meat and seafood counters. Both had their meat & fish displayed in a very neat and clean manner. Not so at other Asian grocery stores, if you know what I mean. The place as buzzing with busy shoppers going through the tiny aisles. Yes....it's busy.....crowded is the correct term. For this kind of convenience in the middle of CV-Land I'm more than happy to tolerate the small issues encountered. Items are all well priced too!If you're in need of Chinese groceries in a pinch, this place clearly fits the bill. Excellent!I Shall Return!

The only Chinese market in CV and with a great selection of fresh seafood, meat and vegetables. You can get most pantry staple items as well such as sauces and noodles. They also rotate their snacks to bring in new products. If you're looking to have hot pot at home, you will find everything you need here. The cashier isn't texting and ignoring you, they are responding to their wechat groups that provides daily updates of what's new and fresh for the day.Place is small and crowded but it gets the job done.

Love this store! It’s small and gets crowded quickly with little space to walk but overall love this place.
