Julie Sumiki is a fantastic business and insurance agent! I have enjoyed being able to work alongside her these past five years with high school students who intern for summers and/or during the school year with her. These students are getting great firsthand experience with marketing, business skills and office/soft skills of what it takes to run and grow a business. They are learning a lot about new perspectives and how to grow social media. They learn how to communicate well with their employer and even colleagues and customers they might come in contact with. They learn how to present themselves well both in person and online and this partnership has proven very successful for these students as they find out their future career interests and get ready for college and beyond. I highly recommend that everyone meet Julie and that Julie crosses paths with each and everyone of you.
P.S. She has great recommendations for Starbucks drinks too :)

Julie with State Farm Insurance is a fantastic local insurance agent. We got to know her through the Castro Valley Chamber of Commerce and other networking events and always appreciated how involved she is within the community.
A little over a year ago, we bought our first house and we reached out to Julie for our home owners insurance. She immediately responded and was so thoughtful in explaining everything we needed to know about homeowners insurance as first time home buyers and things to consider. She was also diligent in getting our insurance bound and paperwork submitted so that our closing went smoothly.
We have also since worked with Julie for auto insurance. She's guided us through exploring coverage for both classic car insurance and most recently, insured us for our every day commuter car.
We appreciate Julie's professionalism and always having her client's best interest at the forefront. Look no further for an insurance agent in the Castro Valley/East Bay Area!
