Im sorry to have to write this review as my experience being hospitalized was great but my experience with my father in law's hospitalization and demise was so awful. We felt abandoned by the staff- once he was extubated and made comfort care we had no other support or communication from RN's or MD's. He was moved to the floor and we were left all alone. Protocol was that if a patient is comfort care then family is allowed to stay at beside but once visiting hours ended we were told we had to leave and only my husband was allowed to stay. He passed away an hour after we had left with only my husband at bedside. My husband had to find a nurse to get any type of support and acknowledgement that he would be passing soon. Once he did pass away the nurse called another nurse to verify his passing and all that nurse did was feel his wrist for a pulse and open his eyelids to see- then just nonchalant said "yeah, he passed"... no words of comfort for my husband, no show of empathy. Im assuming the nurse informed that MD on that night but no one ever reached out to us, no phone call nor visit at the bedside.

Went in for back surgery in a November. Five level Laminotomy. I had put this surgery off for about ten years. Why? Because I was frightened. I must tell you that the entire experience from preop to discharge was excellent. These people have their act together. Everyone was nice and professional. The security guard, the nurses, the desk clerks, everyone in preop. This place is run like a well oiled machine. In addition the facility is very nice. I would not hesitate going to Eden again should the need be, and I would go with much less apprehension because of the quality of the staff. Thank you also to Dr Randall. Could not have been better.

Well I have a experience how they have my friend mom at the hospital twice and supposedly be emergency not knowing what is diagnosed, service is bad especially doctor no experienced and dumb, good thing my friend mom went back to there again since close to the home but again not knowing what they are doing, my friend mom has to tell them What to do and good thing she is a medical assistant and smarts, they need doctor that can explain and know the problem beside guessing what the problems, the only thing I like about it is food and nurse the rest is trash

Joyce, Cecelia and Melissa in the imaging department are ROCK STARS! The ladies were friendly, funny, professional and efficient. I was in and out in 16 minutes. Now, let's talk about the front desk at the hospital entrance. Service there leaves something to be desired. I came in and stated my first and last name as well as I was there for a mammogram. The young lady asked if I had an appointment. (Puzzled look on my face) I then ask do they take walk ins for mammograms? She replies let me find out and was DEAD SERIOUS! Yowzers!! And asked my last name for a second time. Just aloof. Her and a fellow colleague seemed more engaged in whatever they were discussing or doing prior to me walking up. I even wanted to confirm the address to ensure I was in the right place since she seemed clueless. She didn't know the address to her OWN job. At this point I was just befuddled and went to the imaging department quickly! Oh my, I hope when training staff they cover the bare basics. I would expect one to know the address and phone number to where they are employed and work at least five days a week. Mind blowing.

Update: if you think it could not get any worse at this miserable place, you would be mistaken! There are Gestapos instead of medical professionals who run the Radiology Department like a fiefdom. They are more interested in throwing their weight around and being self important than actually caring for patients. I finally managed to secure an appointment for the mammogram and showed up for my appointment as scheduled. However, I got confused and parked in a parking lot that was a couple of blocks away instead of the main hospital lot. I decided to walk the couple of blocks instead of getting back in the car and moving it. Being hypertensive, I did not want to rush and walked at an even pace to the hospital. I checked in with the person to register and it was 5 minutes past my appointment time. She did not say that I was late and that it would be a problem. We finished the registration and she sent me to the radiology room and it was now 10 minutes past the appointment time. The person at the front desk checked me in and called in to the technicians in the back to let them know. She was told to send me away because I was ten minutes late. They did even bother to come out to talk to me or offer to see me if there was a no show or if someone else was late. Just a flat NO, we are too busy to see you was the response I got. I was in disbelief at the utter disregard for patient care and their lack of compassion. I felt my blood pressure going higher and higher being in that antagonistic environment. I just had to get out of there before a busted a blood vessel!! It was a couple of months before I was able to secure another diagnostic mammogram appointment elsewhere...leading to a dire diagnosis! My condition could have been detected that much sooner had Eden actually been in the practice of patient care instead of operating a fiefdom and making patients feel unwelcome and unwanted. I have no words to describe how really awful this place is.

I took my elderly father into the ER at Eden on Friday. We were there for 5 hours and I observed and received top quality care and attention. The nurses and doctors were extremely attentive for the number of people they were treating. That is a busy facility- but I sure appreciated the individualized attention!

The security guards at Eden hospital emergency room were really nice, funny, and amazing. They make you feel welcomed and safe. They like to communicate and socialize with patients and overall make you feel better. Two security guards I specifically want to point out for their amazing work is Benjamin and Angel. They are amazing people and they for sure made me feel better in every way about my situation. They 100% deserve a raise!

My 87 year old mom fell and ended up at Eden Hospital. She had a broken right wrist, broken nose, broken left kneecap, and broken ribs. The nurse brought her food and no one uncovered it, cut her food, or offered to help her. When they came to move her, they threw her broken leg around like it was a normal leg. Each disheveled doctor that came to speak with us were clueless on her medical condition. This hospital is as good as Motel 6.

I went into the emergency room to check if I was having systems of a strike. While in the emergency room a lady came in and asked for my medical card and driver's license to take a photo. Two week or so I get the bill saying 19,0000 or set up a payment plan for $ 1082 a month. I was stressing because I don't have that kind of money. I couldn't sleep at night was sweating thing how am I going to pay. In the morning I got up to set up a payment plan and looked at the bill closer and it said no insurance or secondary insurance. I called and told them I gave that information when I went to the hospital. I gave the person on the phone my medical insurance information. Then two weeks later I get another bill from the company that does the lab work. That night I couldn't sleep either stressing and I the morning I called and they didn't have my medical information. All this sleepless nights and anxiety because the lady in the emergency room didn't do her job. I am going to go to another hospital not this one

I was in a serious accident and broke my right femur. Had to be transported to Eden because it was the nearest Trauma Center. The orthopedic surgeon, Dr Haley, literally saved my life and I never got to tell her how grateful I am. They took excellent care of me there and kept my pain to a minimum. I can now walk as long and far as I want because of the care that I received at Eden.

I stopped coming here after COVID due to the lack of compassion and care. My daughter is in the waiting room pain level 8-10 and she's not being seen. The waiting room is chaotic and filthy. The fees charged at this hospital warrant a better level of cleanliness and help for the staff. They are overwhelmed and understaffed. If this visit didn't warrant an severe emergency visit I would leave and take her anywhere else. Her pain is to severe to move and even though this has been brought to the staffs attention numerous times nothing. Not to mention we are going on hour two in the waiting room to with pain level 8-10 waiting to be seen with no updates!!!
