Unhelpful and unfriendly

Roger filled our cat's prescription and personally ensured delivery. He was incredibly kind and patient with my questions. The business was hard for me to find - and there are no doors - so it's not clear whether they could help in all situations but if you get directed there you will likely have a great experience.

This pharmacy went above and beyond for me. The owner is great and really cares. I’m not going to get into the entire story, but many other pharmacies wouldn’t have stepped up the way they did. Five star customer service!!!

I am caring for a hospice patient. Orders were placed for delivery on Friday. I stayed up and nothing arrived. I spoke with the hospice company and they were guaranteed Saturday delivery. I stayed up until 10 and still nothing. I called the pharmacy myself today and was told there was an insurance "issue ". I found out that isn't true. I'm out of pain medicine for someone in the last days of her life I asked why no courtesy call. He had no answer. This company has no humanity or compassion and they're in healthcare?

This pharmacy went above and beyond for our patients who needed medications STAT! I work as an RN case manager for Hospice organization in Alameda and we use this pharmacy a lot. They deliver from north to south and they have excellent customer service! The staff are very patient and kind. They even work on Saturday and Sunday and deliver the medication same day even for short notice/request. Thank you Sedir, Bob, Sarah, Trish, Savi, Saborn and the rest of the staff! Thank you for all you do. Keep up the good work!

I've been coming here for several years and it's a shame that the standard seems to be to be rude and impatient with the customers. I've seen it done to others and now to me. Whoever works Sundays need to never work in customer service ever. I could see she was already annoyed and impatient when I rang the bell, so I apologized for having come NEAR closing time. To which the employee responded "It's 3:00, we're already closed!" Luckily I had my phone in my hand and was able to show her it was not yet 3:00, and not only are they still open, but the window was open and it took literally less than a minute to grab my prescription (which was already paid for). Even if it was passed 3:00 (which it was not), have a little customer service and human decency. It's almost as if some of the employees know they can get away with treating the customers this way, because people need their medication regardless, which somehow makes it worse. I've come here many times and the window is closed at the start of the day because employees open late, and now it seems they also want to close early. Maybe Clayworth should change their hours to accommodate the lazy and rude employees, or maybe just employ people who actually know how to interact with others and/or tell time. I really hope this small pharmacy sets a better standard for their employees. Like I said, I've been coming here for years and have their rude behavior many times. The reviews speaks for themselves.

Do not go here. They put the wrong pills into my pill container. They had the label right but when I went to take my daily pill they were pink instead of white. I instantly check on pill finder and they double dosed my prescription! So unsafe!! I'm so angry. What would have happened if I just figured it was fine and to trust the pharmacy...you can KILL someone that way. F this place. I called a s told to whatever joke of a manager they have over there and he was like " the pills must have gotten mixed up!" Wtf obviously! This place need to be shut down. To add to my already heated review about. I seriously think this place is racist! My husband had shoulder reconstructive surgery along with an elbow surgery some time ago. we went here during his recovery to fill his persecution for whatever pain pill he was on following his surgery. We live down the street so it made since going here. My husband walked in. They took one look at him and said "we can't help you we aren't taking new customers" he asked why and they ignored him, even when he said his wife is already and existing customers. Totally rude. I was pist at this place and called a few hrs later and FAKED I was a new customer and they had NO problem taking me! What losers to turn down the black man who walks in! I don't recommend this place to anyone for those 2 reasons above. I won't name drop but I also have a friend that did an internship here...something along those lines, and said it's a s*** show there. Please save yourself your life, and time and just go to Walgreens! They are more than helpful there!

I've been using Clayworth for 28 years. Partly to assist a local business over the CVS and Walgreens of the world. Last week I went there to get a prescription filled. I was asked if I was a previous patient. Yes, of course. The rather curt woman looked at her computer and said ACCUSINGLY, "well not recently!". Then said she would not fill my prescription. Again, very rude. I tried to find out why and was given no answer. I asked if they were going out of business, because they had closed their doors, and the only communication was through a tiny OUTSIDE window. She said "no". This is the worst experience I've had with customer service in a long long time. Do not go to Clayworth. If they are not going out of business then they should.

I still can't believe this happened today. I called up Clayworth too see if they could fill my RX. The girl on the phone asked if I was a customer there. I said I had been in the past. Without her even asking my name to look up my records she said I was a new customer and she would not fill my RX. What the heck!@@!#! They are a pharmacy, I assume in business to make money. I HAD spent a bunch there in the past and I live in Castro Valley. I won't be spending anything there in the future. Buyer be ware, there are plenty of other places to shop.
