The jerk running the electronics department claiming to be a target subsidiary scratched off my gift card access code. I had to call and receive a replacement. The store didn’t give me a refund. This store is trash!

Every time I come here and self checkout is closed, you’re getting a bad review

Very convenient and saves you time when you order order your groceries on line and have them brought to your car free of charge.

A somewhat quiet Target location set as a designated “college” Target near the CSUDH university. It’s got a decent selection of goods, with a smaller clothing selection than many given its positioning next the SouthBay Pavilion Mall, and helpful staff (especially for returns). During holiday seasons, be mindful that drive-up wait times can skyrocket, so it might even make more sense to pick up your order in-store, but they often have one person handling both in-person pick up and returns.

Signage would help. How am I supposed to know your auto care product is between home decor and kitchen?

This used to be my go to target because it was nice and a good location, but no longer. Allegedly there’s been theft and management just decided to ruin the experience for everyone. First they locked a bunch of items so you have to ask and wait forever for someone who had a key to open it for you. Then they put a 10 item max on self checkout which completely defeats the purpose because that will just make regular checkout lines longer when there’s maybe two open. And the employees care too much, I’m tired of getting harassed in the self checkout when I have 12 items when I just want to pay for everything and get out of there. Keep it up target and everyone will just take all their business to Amazon!

This Target used to be such a smooth and easy shopping experience. But now, it's HELL. One of the worst things about this Target are the young panhandlers in the parking lot and in front of the store. I'm not sure what prompted the lock down of certain items but the fact that it takes Team Members 20-30mins to show up for assistance is absolutely ridiculous! Please be aware that aisle G17 does not have an assistance hand prompter device. Outside of fresh produce the selection of items is good and worth the price.

I just came from Target at this location around 3:30pm on 2/20/24 - Avalon Blvd. There were two teenage boys that were offering candies/chocolate in exchange for voluntary monetary contribution(something like Girls Scout to that effect). I passed by them and asked how much. One boy said $5. I'll think about it on the way out I said. On my way out they both started their offer again. I said I'm alright. The teenage boy in white sweater exclaimed that I was a liar and started saying something about God and the Bible on lying. This was my first time to encounter such a situation. Volunteers are always respectful and courteous except this intimidating teenage boy in white sweater. Please let their area leader know. Thank you. However I will still shop in Target of course.

Everything is locked up. I had to wait 15 min for someone to help me to get face cream and I had look for that someone to help even though I pressed the button for help. Their slushie machine is always broken, they rebuilt the area to make it a self-service but it is NEVER in service.

Target has items I need when I need them immediately. Prices are fair. One star off for not having enough cashiers at checkout and several times the toy shelves are empty.

I go here often; overall it is consistently organized and clean, so I appreciate that a lot. I often go during the weekdays so I often run into one thing or other being out of stock, but nothing too bad.I don't like that I can't do self-checkout anymore if I have over 10 items. I always prefer self checkout to a regular cashier. I find that checking out with the cashier feels more rushed for me as I scramble to bag my items so as to not waste more time for the next customer to purchase theirs (not that I dawdle when I do self checkout though).Today, the cashier was very clearly sick because he was coughing and sniffling, yet he didn't wear a mask; it would have been best if management told him to go home, or if he would have called out sick. Target is risking their sick employees getting their other employees and their customers sick like this. I would have used self checkout (contactless) instead if I could have but I had over 10 items.
