I had to write this review!!! Hands down my cousin Rose was skeptical that she could get a haircut that would be feminine & to her liking since she is used to having her hair done by women who use only "scissors" . Let me tell y'all..Andre (IGotCutz ) Ste #34 inside Sola Salons @ SouthBay Pavillion changed her mind about male barbers & electric clippers. He cut her hair & got her natural curl pattern on "fleek". She has been in the mirror since she got home & can't get over her haircut. Andre was very interactive with her & made her experience very special. We've found our new stylist.!!!! Thank you so much Andre for your special touch love & care in listening to what the client asked for. We will definitely be back to see you & let you do your thang!!! I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting DeShaunte who left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. From the moment I stepped into the salon, it was clear that professionalism was not a priority for this stylist. Deshaunte was very unprofessional. Did a horrible job on my service. I messaged and asked if there could be anything done about how bad my service was and she said no there was nothing she could do. My head was throbbing and I took the style out immediately. As she began working on my hair, it was evident that she lacked the necessary skills and expertise. My requests for a birthday style were met with uncertainty, and she seemed unsure of what she was doing.Furthermore, her lack of hygiene was alarming. Not only did she fail to sanitize her hands before touching my hair, but her workstation appeared messy and disorganized. This raised serious concerns about the overall cleanliness of the salon.The final result was nothing short of disastrous. It was clear that the stylist had not paid attention to my requests, resulting in a style that was uneven and completely different from what I had asked for. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she became defensive and dismissive, refusing to acknowledge her mistakes.In conclusion, my experience with this unprofessional hairstylist was extremely disappointing. From her lack of skill to her poor hygiene and disrespectful behavior, it was evident that she was not committed to providing a professional and satisfactory service. I would strongly advise anyone considering this salon to think twice before entrusting their hair to such an unprofessional hairstylist.

Wish I could give 0 stars and it's no hate on the business itself just Deshaunte who does not know how to do hair and is continuing to scam people for their money and do a horrible job.. she has no license from my knowledge. I requested a style for my birthday brought the hair for an install and prior to me coming showed a picture of what I wanted and she gave the ok. The first red flag was her changing the appointment multiple times and tried to cancel last minute when I was already on my way claiming she went to the dentist and she's in pain . Why would you go to the dentist and be in pain prior to doing my hair and you already agreed on that appointment after changing it. I had a birthday coming the next day and she's playing with my time and energy and money. I arrive and she's barely getting there. She's doing my hair it's not relaxing it's painful she braids extremely tight does everything rough. I had redness and bumps the next day from the braids being too tight under the wig. We agreed on the price being $150 for my birthday and she asks for $200 because it wasn't the wig she wanted I have no time to argue or stress myself out prior to my birthday and had things to do after the appointment. During the service as well she sews in a whole track on the middle part which covers half of the part making it so visible and ruins the wig completely. She then takes forever and blames the wig for all her mistakes cause she doesn't know how to properly do hair . I have to leave and I'm already upset and I don't argue she never complimented it nothing it was like she knew it was garbage and just wanted the money I'm new to these styles and just wanted it done and to be out but it seems like she took advantage of that and just took my money. I see the hair in my car in a close up mirror and it's already lifting the sew in track is right in the middle part it wasn't even styled as the picture at all completely did it how she wanted. Took my money and completely took off even tho I was calling and texting she then says she's already home. Any good stylist would come back and fix what they did wrong because they know how to she doesn't she's a scam artist and had no remorse after taking my money and giving me a screwed up style ended up blocking me never gave me a time to fix it and haven't spoke to her since don't ever go to that rat of a hairstylist I hope $200 takes her far cause she barely gets bookings check out her other reviews online lol.. prior to her blocking me mentions I will hear from her "lawyer " you can't even get a cosmetology license but want to lie and say you have a lawyer. Not only that but writing reviews about herself forgetting she's on her own account is hilarious I feel truly sorry for her.
