Meh. I went here for an oil change. This time I had my tires rotated, air cabin filter changed. They could not change the fuel filter because I was told that would take too long (!?!) Today I noticed that the tire air pressure was not adjusted when they rotated the tires. A tire valve cap was loose though almost falling off. Maybe was about to check but decided not to? Anyway, kinda sloppy work.

I usually go to the Carson og location. The customer service is great, the prices are fair and I trust that I'm getting correct information and great service.

I went to this shop and I used my coupon discount for oil change. They did it real quick in 12 minutes. This was my first time using independent service shop instead from car dealership. The following day I got surprised I saw oil on my garage floor coming from my car. I call the shop manager regarding the problem. He advised me to bring the car to fix it and they did right away. In my mind I will not bring my car in this shop again.

Let me get to the point...if you have an older car, do not go here. You will be treated like you are bothering them. I have been living in Carson 60 years and this place is a detriment to Carson and neighboring cities. Vehicle was brought in a for an oil change. Which was pointless, because all the oil leaked out. Life lesson...take the vehicle to the dealership. Now I know why LASD has to be frequently called to this location. Do better by your CUSTOMERS.

Very good!!! The Oil change was more than estimated but I also asked for a few other things. But afterwards I got to talking with Alex about other things they do and I'm glad I did! They repair Air Conditioners also! We got an estimate for my condenser which is a huge job taking off the dash! I've had estimates ranging from $1k to $6k. Rick's is pleasantly closer to the lower end!!! Alex knew what he was talking about, I felt confident my vehicle was, and will be, in good hands!!

Brought my wife's 2010 Toyota Venza in for an oil chabge. They have been changing her car's oil for the last 3 years. Noticed a few days later that it was leaking oil on the driveway so I brought it back. I told them the car was leaking oil from the oil drain plug which they agreed so they replaced the plug.

I came in on a Saturday morning with a couple of other vehicles being serviced. My car needed an oil change, we were getting ready to take it across the country so I asked that they check everything they could.Later that morning we picked up the car, tires properly inflated & ready to go. Total bill under $50⁰⁰.No muss no fuss! I would take my car there again, the shop just gives you that "good" feeling.

Ask them to check for leaks after oil change then when went up to pay I ask where the leak coming from? Guy says the leaks coming from everywhere and leaving me ???? Turned out to be power steering leak which got maintenance elsewhere and resolved

I hate to leave 1 star reviews, especially from an establishment that was highly recommend to me from a family member. About a week and a half ago my car started to leak oil. The family member said go to ricks they are good. Anywho I called last week around 830 am and said I had an oil leak and is this something they can take care of and can I make an appointment; I was told it was on a first come first serve basis no appointments needed, then I asked if I come in around 12 would that be ok. Again over the phone the guy said just come on in. I went in at noon, and was told they couldn't take me because they were busy and it's first come first serve and I needed to be there by 8am to be seen (umm ok I understand that but why when I called did you say to come in only to waste my time and send me away); anywho a week later I make arrangements to have my dad pick me up a ricks at 8am cause I intend to leave my car there to get worked on for the day. First I walk up to 2 guys staring at me in the bay, (no good morning, no how can I help) as a women it made me feel really uncomfortable. I then go up to the guys and say "good morning I was here last week about oil leaking from my car and was told to come back at 8am since it's first come first serve". The guy then says "so what do you need? (With attitude)" again I said oil is leaking from my car and I would like it fixed. He then said it sounds like my "oil needs to be cleaned out and I needed to go to the car wash" ummm ok. So then I re asked, so what you're telling me is you don't fix oil leaks here then?" His rude response was we do, but not today we're short staffed and it's first come first serve. I didn't even argue, simply walked away and won't be coming back ever. The lack of professionalism, waste of my time, standoffish demeanor of ricks employees will undoubtedly lose customers. The two men working made me feel as if I was bothering them on their coffee break asking them for help. Perhaps some training in customer service is due, good luck.

I'm impressed by their customer service & speedy professional ethnic services to make sure you leave a happy customer & continue to come back. I actually give them 10 ⭐. FYI: they have a very clean waiting sitting area w/ restroom a TV / screen to view their work on your vehicle, your wait time isn't very long . I recommend them to everyone . I will definitely be returning they are my new & best place to handle with care on my truck

This is kind of an “it is what it is” vibes kind of place. If that’s your thing, then cool. Over the years, I’ve been getting both good and bad vibes at this place. Sometimes I feel like I’m in good hands, other times I’ve been made to feel that everything “wrong” with my car is my own fault. It really doesn’t help that I’m not a car guy? I feel like when I come into Rick’s I’m burdening the people working there. I’m not demanding, nor am I going to breathe down employees’ necks and telling them they’re “doing it wrong”. I kind of go for whatever my car needs, really. Oil change and/or Freon re-up. Although, I last time I was there I asked for a Freon re-up and was turned away due to them “not having enough time.” Granted, it was an hour before the shop closed, so I get it, I guess. Ended up doing it myself because we live in 2023 and the internet and therefore unlimited information exists and finished before the shop was supposed to close. I digress. Anyway, go to Rick’s if you don’t care. If you do, then don’t.
