“Been coming here for about 25yrs now! And it never disappoints...Was referred by an ex coworker who grew up around the area. I've been told I am crazy to drive so far (32mls)...that I can get meat just as good nearby...Well I have tried other places & each time after being disappointed, I had to take that ride to Carson. Believe me, it's well worth it! Most times when I come during holiday weekends, I find others who come from far away cities as well...so I'm not the only one taking these drives. This past week I tried the shrimp only ceviche for the first time. Delicious!”

“Love these carnicerías, the staff is always friendly and fast. The only reason why I'm not giving the 5 stars is because the butcher are not changing their gloves. One of the guys was cleaning and swiping and came to help me and grabbed the diesmillo with the same gloves he had just touched the broom with. Plus graving all meats with the same gloves is cross contamination.”

All the workers are nice and sometimes the cashiers will do small talk with you. It may be a small place but you can find good food there. You got to have the carnitas, so bomb. “I just stopped by on Google maps. Those reviews here who say Wilch Brothers Market had been here "forever", are true. I would ride my bike across the river from the Island to come here and read comic books while standing by the rack. That was in the early 1960's.”

“Like most after a good bbq, I got referred here. I have been more than a handful of times since. The meat and chicken is always good. I believe some days is better than others, however it is always good. For the most part, service is always up to par. You are normally helped right away even if there is a line as it moves pretty quickly. My last recent visit, it was empty when I walked in. The person working behind the meat counter, walked back and forth MULTIPLE times before helping me(seemed like he didn't want to help). Cashiers don't really help if you're looking for something. Despite inconsistency, in my opinion, you can not go wrong with coming here.”
