“This is one of the largest Aldi that we've visited. The store was absolutely clean, shelves and cases were well stocked on a Sunday evening, and service was friendly and helpful. It was an easy hop off the 405 on our way back to San Diego. Shopping center parking was plentiful. We stopped for one item and left with six! Great experience.”

“I went there for the first time today, January 6, 2024, after a friend recommended that I try their Jaiba (imitation crab meat) ceviche tostada. I was not disappointed. It was made fresh to order and topped with dice Avacodo. They also make fresh juices, fresh fruits, bionicos, quesadillas, nachos, and other foods. Great place. Great prices. Most importantly, the women working there are friendly and welcoming.”

“I love shopping at GROW. I have so many favorites including the bourdelaise marinated tri-tip, filet mignon, freshly made salsa, chorizo, and the best quality produce... And if they have cherries, you MUST go home with some. Great not so little neighborhood store. It's a gem.”

“This is truly a hidden gem. The biónicos here are amazing. We visit at-least once a week and we are always greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. We visit with my 3 year old daughter and they always acknowledge her and give her their undivided attention. The food is great and the ambiance is nice and cozy. I recommend everyone try this place.”

“I first met the Soto family while a teacher at the public school across the street . They are caring and committed small business owners that go out of their way to provide the highest quality of food products and ready to eat meals to the Compton community . The carnitas are simply amazing in taste and quality . Their vegetables and fruits are always fresh and at reasonable prices . If you're in the area and hungry , Stop by and say hello to Juan Soto .”

“As the only urban farm in Long Beach, Farm Lot 59 is a precious gem. Not only are they bringing beauty to our community through the growing and selling of heirloom and diverse flowers, they also produce fruits and vegetables sustainably and DONATE THEM to local food banks. Local, nutrient dense food is going to the folks who need it more than those who can afford to shop at Whole Foods!Farmer Sasha and the FL59 team have worked hard to be a positive change in the neighborhood by providing a venue for education and community building.”

“Oh my gosh aldi is amazing, the prices are decent, and the quality of their meats, vegetables, ice cream and snacks are terrific, if you're into keto then aldi is the place to go. Their customer service is friendly, kind, and helpful, they also sell items like rugs, dishes, a bunch of miscellaneous items that you may need, like electric heaters, cooling fans, there's so much I can't name them all, while everyone else is raising prices aldi stays ahead of the game by sticking to low prices and great quality.”

“Cheaper than most with a limited number of brands it works. I still don't get the part about the cashier's not being able to stand up. It's like Fresh and Easy 2.0 but better cleaning and fresher food. Also they have expanded into urban food bombs. No fresh food around. Allowing a more practical access to urban and middle class families and individuals.”

“Amazing Mongolian bbq. The service is great and the food is always always amazing. It's a bit busy at times but the way the food is you can't blame them! Definitely recommend as an alternative to the GenKahn Mongolian bbq in the malls.”

“Volunteered here recently! Great goal of helping the community by introducing a low income area to healthy foods. I also came from a low income family and the standard plate would have meat and rice because it made us full and it was cheap. There wasn't that much emphasis placed on fruits and veggies in our diet. They have a wide variety of fruits and veggies at this farm as well as eggs and the use of hydroponics.”

It's a small family owned business and has art inside the store walls and even on the outside which really gives you good vibes once you walk in the store. “100% Aldi is some kind of euro-cult thing. The brands are odd, there's a weird mix of products, and things can be hit and miss. You will find a decent variety of european strange foods, candies, etc. And of course there's the aisles of Kmart like "home products and knock off toys." Maybe Aldi was born out of a German grocery and IKEA having a love child. I dunno. But what I know is....- Prices are undeniably LOW- There are some amazing finds to be found- You can almost check off your grocery list- If you're willing to make some compromises you'll save a tonRemember to bring a quarter with you so you can get a push cart. You put the quarter in to "check out" your cart and you get it back when you've clicked it back into the cart parking area. How genius as it give people an incentive to return the flippin' cart and not bump it into everyone else's car. Aldi. Land of the odd and home of the strange. But I dig it.”

“It has been awhile my going to 99 Ranch Market (pre-pandemic days) so I was pleasantly surprised how better organized the produce section has become (bins separating the vegetables and fruits in the middle section of the area, making it much upgraded looking and easier to sort through. The aisles are not as crowded with boxes and adequately two shopping carts can easily pass each other.Once in awhile an employee is somewhat rude, unable to communicate she wanted to walk by, instead pulling my cart before I had a chance to explain what I wanted to know. More training needed for manager levels, learn to express and be pleasanter to the customer. No matter how busy it gets, the customer came in seeking products to purchase, not to be barrage.Overall, 99 Ranch Market is a go-to shopper's paradise for Asian foods and products.”
