Very good communication between the crew manager and myself, and they were friendly. The rest was awful. They appeared competent at first, but upon inspection a lot of my boxes marked “fragile” in huge red letters were smashed, some of my furniture broken or damaged, and the initial price I was quoted was only about 1/4 what I ended up paying. Will never use them again.

All American Movers are awesome. Put half my stuff in storage and wrapped and sealed everything. 2nd move included taking out of storage another home and then everything was taken 50 miles away. They took my bed apart and put it together, took my garden shed apart and reassembled it onsite, and finally unhooked the washer and dryer and hooked them up in my new house. Excellent job - 4 movers and 2 trucks Will definately recommend.

What a great experience! I spoke with JR to set up our pick up time for several items being held in storage. The crew was busy with a big move but JR assured me someone would be there so we could get our furniture. It took us longer than expected to get our uhaul and JR made sure someone was there after our pick up time to help out. Walter helped us and he was GREAT! We could not have loaded such large, heavy pieces without his guidance or help. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to both JR and Walter. If you need someone to help with your move or to store your personal belongings, I highly recommend All American Movers.

We have used this company for two moves and they are fantastic! On time, professional, well mannered and always to the extra length to please. Today I had a crew of Sean, Willie and Walter and they were so good, I will request them as my crew for my next move!The best experiences I've had with movers!

These guys are the worst. I filled out a quick form to see how much they wanted to charge me and they proceeded to harass me for the next three weeks with phone calls. I asked them to take me off their list and they would get upset and hang up on me without taking me off.Do not use this service or fill out any forms unless you want endless phone calls.

My mom has used this company several times in the past without issue. They are easy to book and friendly enough over the phone. Their pricing seems pretty standard - which is 2X the hourly rate for commute time.The first red flag was that I had to call them the day before to confirm the appointment. During this conversation I had a lot of questions for them but oddly they had none for me.The next day they arrived 1.5 hours late and immediately informed me that I was 3 hours into my allotted 6 hour booking. I was also informed by the driver that trucks cannot drive on the 110 in a manner that suggested that I should have let him know (I was left wondering, don't they plan these routes ahead of time?) My honest assessment was that he was wasn't super motivated to work. The driver also complained that it was a long walk to park in back of the unit and the city would not allow him to double park on the street in front (long walk? Isn't he a mover?) I was able to persuade him to try and park in the back. Unfortunately the truck was too large.These are all situations that could have been avoided if they had asked a few questions. I am not the expert, ostensibly they are! The end result was that they cancelled the job and left without even an apology.

The 1st time you call they are rude and ask you to call again ... Maybe, he has the right to be in a bit of a bad mood? 2 hours later you give it a try...again ... this time he is simply obnoxious... I am so glad the customer welcome is so bad . Thank you Sir This way you know upfront you better get your business elsewhere !!!

This company will steal your money do not use them, they send a contract out that they don't honor they lie and they don't answer the phone Matt ain't s*** alot happened during my interactions with this company and my 70 year old mother inlaw still don't have her furniture I was trying to send to her. This company will give your furniture to companies they don't even know and when it's a problem it's on you not them. Please don't use this company if you want your stuff. They are terrible

This is a front for a rogue moving fraud organisation. In IL it does business as Moving Services Corp. In NJ and FL it calls itself Selective VanLines. These groups have been reported to law enforcement in NJ and CA - avoid!

This company will steal your money and your time. Please choose another company if possible. They WILL quote you for the least amount of space only to have the movers come and double that on the spot! They hound in the beginning just so they can get your business the brokers leave you to your own demise. This has been the worst experience of my life. I BEG YOU! DO NOT USE THEM. THE PRICE YOU ARE QUOTED, WILL BE NOT THE SAME!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM OR GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!

Absolutely the worst. My binding agreement price was $2130. The local mover sent by AAM (a broker) demanded an extra $1400, and the second movers they sent demanded an extra $930, both for no legitimate reasons. Example--the first mover acknowledged that my household goods were 300 cubic feet, but they would take 500 cubic feet in his truck After that AAM stopped returning my calls. I have learned this is a common scam, especially now in southern California where so many people are leaving.

We gave them an inventory of our items and they said it would cost $1700. They get here and tell us it will be $3500. Complete scam and will be contacting our lawyer to get our deposit back. Do not use this company!!
