I am a honey person but... I was given a bottle of the Avocado Blossom honey and I am addicted. The honey is dark in color with such a rich warm flavor. Not at all cloyingly sweet like more honeys. It will now be a staple in my pantry.

Charcoal sourdough bread is so amazing; the best bread I have ever had! Also love the spirilla balls! They make everything themselves.

Found this place while walking from our campsite in Carpinteria. Such a gem! The coffee wasn’t my favorite, but the fresh croissants were AMAZING! We went back three times.

Oh, this sweet jewel of a place. I look forward to my monthly trips to Carp so I can load up on my favorites - coffee, local honey and baked goods. They have a wonderful gift selection that is high quality and often local. It’s tucked away in a corner off of Palm, just outside of the state park gates and a short walk from town. I’m eating one of their fresh baked muffins and enjoying the drip coffee today - can’t put anything in coffee this good.

I want to recommend SB Hives as incredibly dedicated people who supportbees and everything about them. They were enthusiastic, personable andcame out immediately to help me with a new bee swarm. All the bees weresuccessfully placed into their bee box (Queen first of course). What a wonderful alternative to getting rid of the swarm. Thank you for a greatjob and a great service!

If you have the opportunity to stop into their two locations, stock up!!! The candles, smell awesome, and their long burning. Try the new lip balm. The honey is collected locally. The stores help the community and local artisans. My absolute favorite product is the Fig + Galbanum diffuser sticks, long lasting and keeps my homes smelling fresh I will always be coming in to support

In addition I came today to grab lunch and it was so yummy! The ingredients were fresh and very palatable! I highly recommend the portobello and tapenade sandwich, chocolate chip cookie and yummy hibiscus tea! I did not catch the women's name who helped me but she is beyond sweet and has excellent customer service skills.

I heard of SB Hives new location In Carpinteria through Yelp and had a great experience visiting this shop. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly and helped to pick out a homemade spirulina bliss ball that was absolutely delicious (not only did it look cute, the health benefits of this bliss ball made me feel like I was doing something good for my body). I also tried their vanilla latte with homemade cashew milk and was pleasantly surprised at how rich and creamy it was, without being too sweet. One thing I really appreciated about SB Hives was their commitment to organic coffee and making everything in-house. The shop smelled amazing and had a lot of cute merchandise to support the bees. I even got to try some of their honey they had displayed around the shop - the sage honey was my favorite!I had a fantastic experience at SB Hives and will not only be returning back for lunch and their delicious organic coffee, but will also be recommending it to anyone who values homemade healthy yet delicious food and great coffee and tea selections. The staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable about their products, and it's clear that they truly care about their customers and the environment.

What a lovely hidden gem! I said hidden because it took me and my GPS a while to find it. LOL This fun little store is a great gift shop with all sorts of neat candles, soaps, plates, cards, jewelry specialties food and honey! I loved the fragrances from the beautiful handmade soaps when I stepped in the door, how energizing! Both ladies working behind the counter greeted me with friendly smiles and helped me create my tea latte with their special blend earl grey tea in a cute little sachet and their house made cashew milk- one sip and I was like "it's a match made in heaven ! " I joked about they can use my name for this combo :). I decided to paired my special edition art grey latte with a blueberry scone and it's amazing!Moist with a great texture... what a perfect combo!I'm very impressed with everything tasted. The flavor in their honey is deep and rich! Can't wait to bring my daughter and her boyfriend there to try their vegan pastry!

as literally the spokesperson for coffee and alternative milks, i would like to nominate SB hive for the best latte I've had on this side of the Mississippi - I'm usually in almond milk girl but I saw they only had old are the housemaid cashew milk. Cashew milk? Literally didn't even know cashews could be milk-ified- I went for house made, because that's gonna give you a way better sense of this place then some processed oatly - WOW. This was phenomenal. It was thick the way whole milk is... which is some thing I haven't had the pleasure of in a long time. it was nutty but not too overpowering that I couldn't get the bold espresso flavors too. as my Snapchat friends saw, I was SHOCKED by how bomb this was - I got the breakfast bar, a chewy massive oat bar. Perfectly savory w the ginger and oats but sweetened by maple syrup and yellow raisins. Gave me the joy of a sweet without sending me into a horrid I am no longer a health goddess spiral
