Pet Care

VCA Carpinteria Veterinary Hospital
585 Walnut Ave, CarpinteriaI cannot say enough how happy we were with the front desk, vet techs, and vets (Dr. Hill and Dr. Munoz both saw our dog). I was so relieved after seeing them and really appreciated how
It was obvious they didn’t do anything that wasn’t necessary. They shared things I could do at home as well. They were both so friendly and gave us ample time for our appointments (didn’t feel
Rushed). I feel like we truly have partners to work with us and a neurologist to help with our epileptic dog. When you have a dog with epilepsy, you need a good team and Carp Vet Hospital is our team! They both followed up to check on our girl and the front desk was so great with getting records and forwarding to overnight hospital. They all follow up and genuinely show they care. Love love love this place!

Animal Medical Clinic
1037 Casitas Pass Rd, CarpinteriaWe recently moved into the area and didn’t have a vet. Our five year old kitty has a slight issue with an anal gland and it appeared to be acting up. Of course we noticed this late on a Thursday evening. We called the animal clinic first thing on Friday morning and Connie answered. She could not have been more understanding and worked us in for a quick check and expel just to make sure our kitty, Minnie, didn’t have issues over the weekend. The visit was quick, professional, and very reasonably priced. Another thing worth mentioning is that they have a cat ‘on staff’ at the office. Minnie was upset about being in a carrier and going to the vet, but the office kitty came up to the carrier and Minnie calmed right down. I’ve never seen anything like it-amazing! We have definitely found our new vet! ❤️

Reyes Market
4795 Carpinteria Ave, CarpinteriaAuthentic Flavor & Thoughtful Accommodation!
Reyes Market is an essential Carpinteria institution. I had a SUPERB Bean, Rice, and Cheese Burrito here yesterday-the definition of a perfect, comforting burrito.
As a vegetarian, finding an establishment that maintains traditional, high-quality standards for authentic Mexican food while successfully meeting dietary needs (specifically, offering lard-free beans) can be a major challenge. Reyes Market excels at this balancing act.
The service is always friendly, the food is authentic, and their ability to successfully cater to both the local Latino community and specific dietary preferences truly sets them apart.
I have no personal or professional connection to the business—I am simply a grateful customer who recognizes and supports outstanding local quality and thoughtfulness. Highlv recommended!

Teddy's By the Sea
5096 Carpinteria Ave, CarpinteriaThe food here is very good, not spectacularly incredible but would definitely recommend it and go again. Here's the breakdown on a couple dishes: Bacon wrapped dates: delicious and a good portion. Teddy's Tropical Ceviche: plenty of fish and tortilla chips but I tossed the giant pile of red onions that came on top. Personally I would have preferred red peppers instead like the way the Mac and cheese came, but that's just me and I'm sure they would have kept the onions off if I'd asked but I didn't know it had them. But it was really delicious nonetheless. Lobster Mac and cheese: is Langostino Lobster? No. Are they using langostinos as lobster? Yes. Would I have ordered langostino mac and cheese? Yes. Am I annoyed that they are calling langostino Mac and cheese lobster Mac and cheese? Absolutely. Was the langostino Mac and cheese good? It was excellent. Lots of langostino and delicious cheese blend. Tommy's margarita: great! Loved it. Classic margarita! Rincon margarita: smoky and gingery. Over gingered for my taste, need a balance so we can taste the other ingredients too. Mai Tai: good but kind of the same problem; all pineapple. Service was friendly, good natured and efficient. Had to switch booths as one table was super tippy. It's a smallish bar and dining area but a good sized patio. It's very casual.
