FANTASTIC service helping us buy and install a new washer/dryer tower! Mary was amazing on the phone, helping us choose among several models; then Dan and his crew made the full-sized unit fit into a *small* space, somehow, solving several problems in the process. Super professional, friendly .. we could not be happier. Highly recommend!

incredibly helpful. I had rats and rat damage! they came three times and helped me so much . they could have just installed and not paid attention to my problem but they did it the best way for me, not for them. mary, works in scheduling , was fabulous. We had an odd experience. To be clear, we were not charged for a service call, which is good because it was disappointing in several ways. The person who came for the service call seemed to have no desire to find out what our problem was or accurately explain what the problem was. They left quickly after declining to show me what the problem was. Can't fix it, can't get parts, etc. Based on their explanation, there was no way they could tell the problem was what they told me it was. I was suspicious. Called someone else and it was fixed the next day. Weird situation and interaction for me. Won't be calling again.

I could not recommend any company more. My husband and I own 3 properties in town and The Factory Appliance is our go to appliance repair. We've tried them all and we are now customers for life. Every problem we have had, from small dishwasher repairs to purchasing and installing an entirely new fridge/freezer, has been painless. My tenants are happy and I am happy. We recently had dishwasher and clothes dryer issues at our own house and had the technician out, experiencing the process first hand. They called when they were on their way, showed up on time, got the job done, had to order parts, called when the parts came in, scheduled the follow up appt., showed up on time, fixed the problem. I wish everything in my life went so smoothly. To be honest, there are a million places I'd rather spend my money, but if I have to repair or purchase new appliances, I'm glad I've got The Factory Appliance team to call. And last but not least, we LOVE MARY, the gal who answers the phone. I have to believe that the people leaving the negative reviews are people who would never be happy with anything, and find fault in everyone. When my husband 1st called, he got off the phone and was raving about Mary. He said he had the best customer service experience of his life. After that I couldn't wait for one of our appliances to break down so I would have a chance to speak to her. If that doesn't tell you everything ... I mean we are talking about someone who makes appliance repair fun!!!

I generally do not leave bad reviews but this company has caused me great anxiety with their customer service or should I say lack of. The woman who answers the phone, Mary, is rude, short and disrespectful. I called her to set up an appointment for a dryer repair. The repair person came and decided I needed a new timer for over $500. I was shocked but agreed to the repair. The part needed to be ordered. On the agreed date and time for the repair I assumed the repair had been done but tenant said she wasn't sure, that everything looked the same and dryer was still unplugged. I heard nothing from the company so I called them and asked if repair was done. Mary laughed and said no that the dryer now needed a new starter. I said no, I will not spend another large amount of money on the machine, please come and take the timer out. I asked why I was not told prior to repair that it still wouldn't work and needed more repair. She snapped at me and said repair person would not know that because the machine wouldn't start. (that was not true) I should have been told up front that the machine could need more repair after installing the timer. I could have then made a decision whether to do or not do any repairs. Mary was very rude to me and hung up on me. I do not recommend this company.

Four visits and they (2 techs) could not repair our SpeedQueen washing machine. Got charged $400 for an unnecessary part. They said it was fixed, but they are so wrong. They are absolutely the worst DO NOT USE!!

Kutcher Aid contracts with this company to service their appliances. We scheduled a service with them a few months ago and followed up recently to obtain documentation of the service because kitchen aid did not have any record of the job associated with our registered unit. I love supporting small businesses and local businesses. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The customer service is abysmal, she was rude, unhelpful, interrupting me while I tries to explain the situation and hung up on me. This is unprofessional behavior and I hope the owners do not support this terrible customer service. And, my freezer is still broken.

I feel sooo lucky to have family owned Factory Appliance here in Carpinteria! I have dealt with them for a couple of decades. Daniel the owner is a hard working old school honest dependable & efficient worker. I just can't brag enough about how much I love their service! I would never deal with anyone else.

The Factory was amazing at promptly scheduling a fridge repair person to come. Frigidaire, the company where we purchased our Fridge from, was difficult to get a hold of, as our fridge was ultimately a lemon, however, the Factory was easy to get a hold of as the contracted service of the warranty. So thankful for them, as they ended up coming to fix our fridge 4 times before ultimately determining it was needing replacement. So thankful for their patience, kindness and communication in the process of an unlucky fridge!

I'll have to say that I've never had a better experience with a repair company. Daniel and his apprentice son were incredibly professional and efficient. I had a broken washing machine that I was expecting to say goodbye to but they were able to fix it super promptly with part in stock ( what a surprise these days)! Local is the best!

I had spent a frustrating year with two other appliance companies when I finally called the Factory Appliance. They clearly diagnosed and repaired my refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven. I'm so happy! I really thought I was going to have to spend thousands of dollars and buy new appliances I will definitely always use the Factory!!!
