After being reffered from a friend and peer, I decided to give Brown and Brown a try. 'David Drumright' was my salesman, but he made no effort to formulate a quote for me... and basically just didn't seem to want my business enough to even call me back. I prefer giving my business to those who seem willing to offer what I seek. I this case, I'm a small business owner trying to get a small liability insurance for my GROWING company. That did not happen, I was polite but it didn't matter. Small businesses take your business elsewhere. I went to Roger Perry Insurance where they seem much more capable of offering me some policies. I still haven't found what I'm looking for though, and wonder if Mr Drumright could have helped me. Mystery!

You might pay for insurance but you're not really insured. They go out of their way to deny coverage at every turn. They hire hacks like Guardian adjusters to avoid any recouping your losses.

Really appreciated the abundance of information provided during initial inquiry, but when most needed them to confirm policy after an accident, they were no where to be found. No response to urgent emails, not even to provide guidance to other resources. Adding insult to injury, later discovered that some of their promises regarding policy duration / early termination penalties hadn't been accurate.

I have been working with Brown & Brown in Carpinteria for years and everyone I have interacted with there has been great. Overall very attentive, responsive, helpful and caring. Lisa has been helping me with my personal insurance - auto, home, earthquake and umbrella. Glen, before retiring, Jamie and his right hand, Denise, handle all of our business needs. As hard as the policy cancellations and astronomical increases in premiums have been as of late, I know the teams I work with are making sure I get the best deal (with the correct coverage) available. The world of insurance can be very intimidating, I feel so fortunate to have connected with Brown & Brown.

I have known my agent Lisa Blackwell since the 90's. Though we have never met in person she feels like an old friend. She has been with me through the crazies of raising two boys, one with multiple bumps behind the wheel and one with one. Any question I have ever had regarding insurance for anything she has always patiently explained to me, guided me and saved me from the pitfalls of dealing with the love hate relationship that is insurance. All of these many hours of conversations were woven with multiple life events. The good the bad and the wonderful. The oldest son that totaled 2 of our vehicle just got married and is a successful happy man with a baby girl on the way. We celebrated the news together. At one point Lisa moved companies and I had to hunt her down because the old company wanted to keep me. I followed her because she is real, honest, and 100% devoted to getting the best possible plan for my family. Anyone lucky enough to have her as an agent is lucky to have her as a member of their framily.

We have been insured through Brown and Brown for our home and property for the past 26 years. In that the people in the local office have always been prompt, pleasant, and skillful in dealing with our insurance concerns. When we had an urgent problem that involved a mistake in billing arrangements through our mortgage company, we were faced with possible loose of our mortgage. The local office assigned one person full time for the day to help us with this urgent situation and she persisted as a go between with the insurer and the mortgage company until the problem was fully resolved. We, my wife and I, have both been impressed with the personable and careful quality of assistance we have received on the rare occasions when we have needed help. I recommend Brown and Brown to any home owner in our region who needs a dependable and highest quality service.

Honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Unhelpful, rude & passive-aggressive. The amount of time it takes to get a call back is over a week. You just lost me as a customer, keep this up and you will continue to lose & retain valuable business.

For years Susan and Laura have handled our insurance. They make my life easy and watch my back which is what insurance is all about. They work closely with all our specialty vendor certs, they help with complex claims, and are quick to answer questions. I'd highly recommend their services.
