Feb. 28, I took my Golden Doodle puppy in for his first grooming. I explained exactly what I wanted. He was trimmed just as I had asked. Perfect job. He is magnificent! I made an appointment for six weeks later. They are so popular they have a six-week lead-time.

It’s like they don’t want business. Took my dog to get his nails clipped and was told to call and make apt on the phone. I called 12 days in a row and left voicemails. Nobody ever answers the phone and they don’t check their voicemails. Then they get mad at you when you just show up and ask for a 2 minute nail trim for your dog, they refuse. Maybe it’s a front business or something. Very strange.

Incredible staff, does a great job with various breeds: Akita, Pitbull, Maltipoo, Chow Chow and Sled dogs. Reasonably priced and excellent groomers.

My pup desperately needed a nail trim. My vet stopped providing this service without a medical/vet appointment. I'd taken him to a really nice place in montecito, but the price tag was a bit steep just for a nail trim. I took a chance on this place, and was so pleased. I have an anxious dog that really dislikes his pedicures, but when the gentleman took him back, he seemed very calm. I heard them clipping his nails in the back, and my pup didn't make a sound! When they brought him back out, he wasn't even shaking (which is pretty usual behavior for him). When I went to pay, I was very pleased with the price! Almost 1/3 of what the other dog salon was charging, and my pup seemed more at ease here. I will 100% be coming back. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't need frills, bells and whistles. If you want a certain style for a special breed, maybe the montecito salon is for you. But all my pup needed was trimmed nails for comfy paws. Definitely try these guys out!

I've been taking my dogs to Alley Pets for years. I moved 280 miles from Carpinteria 4 years ago. I tried groomers in the new area. Forget it. It's worth it for me to drive back to Carp to get my dogs groomed. They are happy and they always look good when we leave. The employees, groomer are super nice!! Plus I get to spend a day in beautiful Carpinteria and Santa Barbara.

I moved to Santa Barbara a year ago I was looking for the place to bring my little dog for a groom that wasn't $150 like the first place I found in montecito! That's insane by the way . I was exploring Carpinteria went down an alley and found this cute little spot .. very old-school and it's worth the drive. She's 14 and when I picked her up she looked like a puppy

Store experience/design. This ain't no Petco - it's not a maze so it's easy to find what you need. The store's also clean and I liked their bright, modern aesthetics - pretty refreshing compared to other tired looking and overly cramped pet stores I've been to. Being able to watch dogs in their in-store doggie daycare was also a treat!

I'm so excited to be writing this review I'm so happy and grateful for the wonderful staff here at the healthy spot. I have a 3 year old pug and he is overweight. Munji at healthy spot knew exactly what to recommend and gave me amazing samples (which btw they weren't stingy with) amazing place, amazing staff, would recommend it to anyone !
