He really doesn't deserve one ? because that Asian owner doesn't allow you to look at the items you're going to buy, he chases you around the store as if you were going to steal, he's an insecure person and he tells customers "if you're not going to buy, don't." is touching things" and argues very badly with people. I don't recommend buying there unless you want to have a bad time.

Owner is so so rude. Nothing in the store is $.99. Everything is from downtown or Costco unwrapped and solid separately. Which is fine but change the name.

We have just gotten our Starbucks and I was excited to see a 99 Cents store. We walked into the store, and the first thing we saw was the toys that cost $25. I said to the guy behind the counter is this a 99 Cents store? He answered yes. I said we're at the things that cost $.99? He said, "there aren't any, really..." This is a true story. As if it wasn't bad enough, my son notes that the guy also had zero personality, Just a zombie behind a mask. As you might guess, we don't recommend this store if you are looking for something that cost $.99 or less.

It has a variety of everyday items. What I liked was they sell decent clothes. They have ProClub, Shaka Wear, Dickies among other basic everyday clothes. I bought a white tee and a solid black zip-up hoodie. I just think they need to do a name change.

Racist! Discrimination. Worse place ever. Assumes anyone of color is stealing!!! The young guy and the husband are friendly. The woman is stone cold racist!!! Selection is sub par and the energy is very low! What's 99 cents?

Extremely rude family runs this store, and the place is basically a scattered dump of cheap Chinese plastic crap. Seriously everything in this store looks like it could give you cancer just by touching it. It looks like they sell whatever falls off the back of a truck in downtown LA wholesale district. Did I mention how rude the people who work here are? Also, even though it's called 99 Cent Discount, everything costs way more. D*** store. I don't understand how this place manages to stay in business. I guess because there's nowhere else in Carp like it. I wish there were "People Hate Us On Yelp" stickers for places like this.

Not a 99 cent store! I wanted a bag of ice and got off the 101 to pick one up. Circled around until I see a small 99 cent discount store. NOTHING WAS 99¢!
