“Cute cottage. Perfect for 3 people or small family. Great location, 3 blocks from the main drag and Tahoe City. Very dog friendly, there's even a toy box for your favorite pooch. Also, there's a dog park that's easy to walk to. We cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. During the summer there's a Farmers Market on Thursdays and live music on Sundays at the park on the beach. We had a great time, you will too.”

“Beautiful log cabin close to beaches and hiking trails ! Also lovely decks in several parts of the home! We especially loved reading on the upstairs deck overlooking creek and pine trees ! The kids had a ball playing on the downstairs deck and running around . Our family included 3adult children and their spouses and grandkids . We had an awesome time being together and celebrating the 4th ! We Highly recommend this house . The only possible downside that may bother some is that the kitchen is upstairs and family room downstairs but we got used to that pretty quick because this log house is cool cozy and very Tahoe ! On the upside the upstairs stayed relatively quiet which was nice .”

“Agate Bay provided a clear, clean, and helpful experience. Communication is all done via email and then text just before you check in, which was very nice for me. Nothing about check in or our stay was confusing or unclear and they were immediately responsive if we had any questions. The property itself had everything we needed for our big group in town for a wedding -- plenty of bathroom space, large kitchen, open common room and dining area for group gatherings. The area is super beautiful and peaceful -- lots of birds to watch from the deck and no noise from the street or neighbors. Just note that this rental company doesn't fully stock the kitchen as much some other Airbnbs do, so plan to bring your own olive oil, most spices, etc. Otherwise they had plenty of pots and pans and the like.”
