“This place is amazing! Clean, organized, definitely fair and reasonable prices! Staff and their volunteers are friendly, funny and helpful! My favorite thrift around!”
“Such a wonderful place blast from the past and every room. I would totally go there again. There was so much to see I didn't even get to get through everything. Every room is set up like a different decade. Prices were not bad if you've never been here before you definitely need to make it a priority if you're into antiques or really just having an enjoyable afternoon. They also have two really great little wiener dogs that seem to be the store's mascot.”
“Kind, genuine and took time to actually ACKNOWLEDGE the customers . Nice shop all in all! Also got blessed with a dope cuba tee thank you again. Much love and power,d efinitely will be back!”
“I always find a treasure when I visit Article Consignment, today was no exception! Abe and team are always so welcoming!
I have been shopping and consigning for 8 years and always satisfied with the outcome.”
“Great shop with a wide array of merchandise. It was a little treasure hunt and the customer service was great as well. Definitely take a minute to jump in here if you need a little pick-me-up!”
“My favorite consignment shop in Orangevale!! The owner is so great & I have her do estate sales for my real estate business. And we've been friends for 20+ years so that's a bonus! She has so many treasures and unique items. Check it out for yourself!! ?”
“I brought in a 1984 care bear in the box and was supremely disappointed in their offer - I don't agree with their comparing it to an old ebay listing that was a complete anomaly compared to other listings.
You might be able to snag it for a great deal if they still have it!”
“This place…like really! I wish we had more time to browse around!
We were greeted very politely the second we came in, about 20min before closing.
They have some really great items for really cheap. I bought 3 jackets/sweaters (Columbia and NB ) for 11$!!!!!! Feels like almost for free! Highly recommended!
The staff is amazing too! ??”
“I haven't been to a flea market in years. This flea market has all the flea market vibes. From brand new items to good used items. This flea market had it all. I ended up not getting the tik tok outfit but got some good quality knock off crocs. Overall good experience.”
“This place has so many beautiful items, and the owner, Colby, is so helpful. He really is a beautiful man. He went out of his way to help me find what I wanted and surprised me with his immense generosity.”
“I found some really good stuff for work here. Good brands and nice quality. I paid $2.90 for most of the pants I got, except I think they charged $4.90 or $6 for some brand new (still had the tags) pants from Express. This store may not look like much, but they have nice quality stuff for cheap!”
“Why pay full price when you have a store like the Moth Hole? I love how they organize their store. By item, size and then by color. Want a medium blue shirt/blouse? BAM! Easy to find!
They take such amazing care in curating the clothes they put on consignment.
I am always greeted when I enter. THAT is so important to me. If they are busy with a customer they take that short second to welcome me. They appreciate their customers.
I appreciate the staff of the Moth Hole and enjoy shopping, whether I leave with a bag full of clothes, of whether I look forward to coming back to see what they new to the store.
Do give the Moth Hole a try!”
“What a great place. I actually shopped here several years ago and now I had items to consign. Steve made an offer on all of the small things and it was very fair. He also was interested in consigning some furniture that I had. I didn't have a way to bring them in, so his staff came out in the company truck. They loaded all 7 pieces, they worked so hard and never stopped for 2 hours straight. Super friendly staff in the store also, Roxanne was a delight! What a wonderful hidden gem of a shop. Lots of unique items and collectibles. Thank You Steve!!”
“Finally visited this thrift shop. Bought great wooden pant/jacket hangers at nice price ($4 for 5 and there was more) and three puzzles ($3 ea and there were many more). Generally quality items, mostly very good condition and the shoes were quality brands. Lots of stuff from the 80s (especially clothing) gave me flashbacks. Overeager workers/volunteers. I really like to be left alone when I shop. When I decided I'd hand them my items while I checked out the shoes (good condition, many like new, though spendy $35+), they wanted my name - no thanks. Place isn't large nor are the racks or shelves crowded. Parking along the side (coming from I-80, enter parking lot just before the store) and in back. Exit is on the other side of the store. Donations - go around back. Limited hours it seems. The Yelp page says the proceeds all go to help the local community. I'm always skeptical of claims but I'll choose to believe it and I'm glad this clean, tidy thrift shop with a clean parking lot has a generous positive mission (unlike the unscrupulous "GW"). I might swing by again in the future, if it's convenient. Definitely would prefer to be coming from I-80 instead of making another awkward u-turn coming from El Camino Avenue.”
“I have purchased many mattresses here, they are wonderful, we will always go to this store before any furniture stores. The owner of the store is very helpful. Highly recommend.”
“Very quaint shop with a nice variety of high and low end items for most every budget. Some items are priced as high of higher than retail, but all in all, they have nice furniture and things for nearly any taste. Enjoy seeing the nice variety.”
“Staff are kind and helpful. I didn't leave empty handed. To bring more customers in they should really consider lowering merchandise price items down. I know the Money is for a good cause though. I like the Store and it's fun to look around.”
“Was a little confused at first..it's been a while since I last shopped here...THEY REMODELED THE STORE! But I was able to find what I needed. Great prices. Great customer service. Great store!!”

“Every experience I’ve had with Threads has been amazing! Friendly faces always welcome you when you come in. The shop is nicely organized by size. I usually find it hard to find second hand shops that sell plus size clothing that isn’t just torrid or some outdated stuff. Threads is one of my favorites! They are constantly adding good quality clothing to their inventory. Threads also has a beautiful collection of luxury items such as glasses, purses, shoes from multiple brands. If I could I’d buy everything in my size I would!”
“An organized and clean place. Their prices are reasonable for used and new items. The toilet is not available for customers to use.
I recommend this place for customers once or twice a month”
“The store is located by Walmart Groceries across the street from Trader Joes . Parking is simple.
If you sell your unwanted baby items be there by opening and don't use TRASH BAGs to bring your items in the store to sell! Use plastic totes with lids or a carry on luggage bag or a suitcase with wheels work the best! They will turn you away if they see 1 trash bag!
The store is merchandised within the seasons. So snow pants and overalls are being put out this week!
It is a wonderful store for a new baby, so much to choose from. I purchased a darling tutu for $3.50 , researched the brand later that night, $110.00 is the retail asking price! What?!? So, you never know what you may find they for baby.
Tons of onesies! And I mean a ton! A $1.00 each! What? Seriously $1.00 each!
Staff is cool, security is in forced, and they buy daily!
Come in and look about . It's rad”
“I applaud their efforts! Given the clientele and what they pay their workers, I think they do a great job. If you want Nordstroms products and service, go to Nordstroms.”

410 El Camino Ave, Sacramento“THIS STORE GAS NO FITTING ROOMS. I listed 5 stars so this review won't get buried right away. This place has no fitting rooms. I assume they shut them down due to theft, but no reason has been given. I'm not going to shop at this thrift store if I can't try anything on. It's kind of ridiculous.”

4040 Florin Rd, Sacramento“Donation drop off. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and helpful. It was raining and I had a ton of stuff and he helped me unload and wished me a happy holiday.”
“Goodwill is a great place to find bargains on clothes, books, DVDs, games, toys and household goods. This Goodwill sells other stores rejects. Everything is sold by the pound, except DVDs/Books are 25 cents. The majority of people were wearing gloves, which is a smart idea. There are bathrooms available to wash your hands, if you aren't wearing gloves.”
“Great selection/value if you can take your time, I always seem to come up & save a whole Lotta money, plus I ain't trying to look like everyone else. These guys help me do that, much love crossroads peace”
“One of my favorite spots in Roseville. I prefer it over Crossroads, Plato’s Closet, and Goodwill. I have found some of my most complimented pieces here! About 3-4 racks per size (S, M, L) of tops, handful of seasonal or new racks, lots of jackets, skirts, pants, jeans, vintage, athletic wear, and final sale items. Men’s clothing section is limited but they always are, still some great tees. Love freestyle ?”
“the staff were super friendly and they had a wide variety of everything… the furniture decor lady is soooo helpful and talented… i’m not sure if she still has her inventory there to sell.”
