4005 Manzanita Ave #41, Carmichaelgreat little spot for a self-service dog wash. i love having shampoo, conditioner, towels, and a blow dryer provided for $15 out to the door! Kensie was amazing (idk if that's how they spelled their name... no name tags but that's the name they provided when i asked for it) and just so helpful! i am definitely taking my pup back there again when we visit California in the future. both employees i encountered were helpful and very thorough with explaining how the self-service dog wash operates. it was a fabulous and friendly atmosphere and i really enjoyed my visit!

5999 Madison Ave, CarmichaelBest grooming I got since my groomer has been out for a while. Got a call from a manager who said I have someone named James and his mom trained him well. My yorkies look like model dogs. I had a great experience with the entire store and manager. So much kindness and professionalism. So thankful I found him and this new pets Mart. Have no idea how there's not 5 stars other than them being a smaller store. The manager held my dog as he tried to find this toy I was looking for. You know these days it's hard to find people who genuinely care and I can't say enough about them. I was told that I had to get her sedated to get her groomed but he did all 4 of my dogs and he's a perfectionist but he's excellent and thorough. The videos won't upload but I got all my dogs looking the best they have looked in a while. They make sure you have your dogs vaccinated and if you care about your dogs you want to know they won't get sick at the groomers. Worth the wait and I found a new place for my fur babies.

I was hoping to get that teddy bear look on him. I found pampered paws. Cheyenne, was absolutely amazing! She did exactly what I asked. I will definitely be going back. They have reasonable prices. He smelled so good after. I recommend them, 10/10! . We will be back once he grows out his hair (:

Dawn’s Pet Palace

I have to admit, I was a bit shocked when I came in as it looked like a haunted house in pink, but then I met Dawn and she was so kind. She offered to give him a haircut right then, as he had just had a bath, blow and nail trim. We found our new place!

We had two poms, Manrico and Tawny with long, thick coats and now Fergie with her wiry terrier hair, and we are always happy with the outcome. I am super sad we are moving away and they will no longer be our groomer of choice. Blue Cross Pet Hospital, 7615 Fair Oaks Blvd, CarmichaelMy sweet 16 year old teeny chihuahua hurt herself last week. We took her to a 24/7 vet hospital two days ago and it was a terrible experience without adequate care for Gigi. I called Blue Cross first thing Monday morning and they were able to see us in the afternoon. The front desk ladies were so kind and empathetic. We got back in the room very soon after we arrived. The intake tech was also really great. Dr Whittaker was phenomenal. So caring, kind and empathetic. Taking time to talk with us and gather information about what we thought happened (tweaking her neck by jumping onto the couch out of our arms). He did an exam and agreed based on his professional assessment. He then took time to discuss all of the three medications they suggest and what he thought about each. He also let the ultimate decision be up to us to choose based on his explanation. I really appreciated that as well as not pushing a ton of expensive tests on us. Tonight she is a tad bit more mobile and ate out of a bowl as I held it tonight instead of the syringe we had to do it with when it first happened. We will be returning when needed for sure. Thank you so much for a pleasant experience!

My other 2 are 50lb+ pit mixes. They take care of all their needs as long as I stay up to date on their basic yearly visits. So blessed to have a vet office that cares this much ❤️ thank you for taking care of them!

Banfield Pet Hospital
4030 Manzanita Ave Ste B, CarmichaelI have visited the Banfield location on a few occasions, I met Chalon Tiedeken, DVM, I was amazed when I saw her exam my fur baby, the best I have to say, in the 7 years i've had my Schnauzer! I do have another vet, but Banfield is around the corner and for quick visits I go to Banfield.
Everyone in the facility is so nice and friendly! I would recommend Chalon Tiedeken, to anyone who wants a very thorough exam of their pet! I haven't had the opportunity to meet the other DVM'S, so I can't post anything about them! Thank you!!

Unleash the Beast
5628 Cypress Ave, CarmichaelIf you’re looking for a professional, caring and super knowledge trainer Unleash the Beast is the best! We had a super energetic toy poodle, 4 months old with no concept of commands. We also did not want to use treats so we signed up to the board and train and could not be happier with the results. I got pictures of our pup every day for 5 weeks, FaceTimes and also at home visits and training sessions to help us sustain the behaviour. I feel so blessed to have found this business and am pretty sure we will continue to work with Unleash the Beast throughout my dogs life - this training will improve our quality of life with our pup. I would do it again and again, money well spent! Thank you!!

Amazing customer service even though there was a line out the door (because it's so good). The curly fries and sweet potato fries are top notch, even the shakes are thick and so tasty!
Its a tiny place though with a tiny parking area. We ordered our food to go because I felt to claustrophobic.
Would definitely order again amd look forward to it!

Lots of terrible Japanese food in the area, and I felt the Japanese food here was pretty darn good. Definitely my preferred spot. The Mexican spot has some unique cultural dishes, and we have enjoyed it all. Haven't had a chance to try the pie spot. The whole place is pretty clean, and I like all the seating possibilities. It's just a fun atmosphere. Very cool for people to grab stuff to go and just hang out together in the covered patio area. Now it just needs Ethiopian and Nepali food! Took my photos at an odd time of day when there wouldn't be many people eating, but in the evenings there are plenty of people. I need to try it for lunch still.

The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service are this outstanding.
If you love fresh, delicious pastries with just the right amount of sweetness, you absolutely have to stop by Elite Baker Café. Highly recommended!

I called just about every Japanese Restaurant in Sacramento, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Roseville, Folsom and no one place made Donburi Katsudon. One place said they did but it was far from it. Then as I was perusing Japanese menus online, bam! There it was DonBuri section! Wow! I called and confirmed how they make it, and yes it's the proper way! So I went and wow! It's as good 100% as my original Japanese Restaurant that closed over 7 years ago in downtown. Never thought I'd find this dish properly made, but Taiko Sushi nailed it! Fantastic dish made right! The place is nice, great atmosphere, and the service is one of the best I've ever had, very gracious hosts, I haven't tried any other dish, this was my first time, but I found my place for the best Donburi Katsudon!

I recently visited this pizza shop, and it was amazing! The pizza was so good – everything was delicious. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese and sauce were flavorful, and the toppings were fresh. I had the combination pizza, garlic pizza, and taco pizza, and they were all perfect.
They have a lot of pizza choices, so you can find something you like. They also have something new and different – a Nutella pizza with strawberries and bananas on top. It’s so delicious! The garlic knots were also really tasty – warm, buttery, and soft.
The staff were friendly and quick. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe, making it great for a meal with friends or family.
I highly recommend this pizza shop if you want tasty food and great service. I’ll definitely go back!

My son is not vegan and had a burger, but immediately stole on of my "fish". I ended up ordering more because he was trying to steal a second one. Very delicious. All could think of was artichoke in the vegan "fish" but it turns out they use hearts of palm. I took pictures of all the things listed as vegan. I do love Brussel Sprouts and they can veganize it by taking off the bacon. Maybe I will try that next time.

Couldn't ask for better service. I ordered two egg bagel sandwich with avo and turkey sausage and tbh honest it was pretty good. Way better than Starbucks breakfast sandwiches.
