The customer service is very genuine because the owner handles the M-F 9-5 business day transactions at the counter himself, ensuring a sincere ear to all customer inquiries and suggestions. He definitely invests in his business. As a local to Carmichael I proudly shop here at Kay Bee Liquor for various small purchases like lotto, refreshments, and occasionally paper towels, etc. Their reputation is solid and their name well known beyond the boundaries of town. Although parking lot is somewhat limited there always seems to be a space available. Probably due to the quick checkout and easily located items. Always well stocked and clean, and staffed with honest employees.

Prices are a little higher than others.. update prices are better service is very good. UPDATE 10/09/2022. Prices have gone up considerably. In the last 2 weeks. Prices have gone up by as much as $1:50. On some items. $2:99 For mini frosted chocolate donettes. 6 pack !! Talk about robery owner doing the ROBBING!!!. PLACE IS GOING DOWN HILL FAST.!!

They are about the same as any other liquor/smoke shop. Higher prices. They have 2 stores in Raytown and we really don't want them taking over a perfectly good green space to put another liquor store in Raytown, especially when they bought the property knowing that it was zoned residential. People in Raytown don't want it!!!!

I will never go back to this store again. I forgot my wallet at home and had to pay 3.70 in quarters and the guy working made me feel like complete s*** for paying with coins. He sprayed the coins down with Windex in front of me and was cussing about having to touch them during covid. A sweet lady there offered to take the coins and give me her dollars but the guy just wanted to continue to make me feel horrible even after I apologized and said this is the first time I've had to do this and he said lucky me and was still ranting when I was exiting the store.
