This bank is always understaffed and the line is often 12 or more people. Today was no different. Customers would walk in and then immediately walk back out when they saw the line and only two tellers working. I witnessed, who I think was the manager, speak unkindly to a customer that voiced a complaint about the wait time and lack of tellers. I won't be back.

Literally the worst branch. 2 tellers for a line full of people, 1 goes on break when the bank has only been open for an hourlike what in tarnationConsistently a line out the door and a 30 minute wait no matter what you need here. Avoid

la Sierra branch brtween watt Ave n Fair oaks. I was there today 10/31/23 between 3:30-4:00pm n I was glad that there's no long line n the teller was rushing me to get off I'm not even done with my transaction. so I came back n another rude teller. what a disappointing day for me.

I went to this location a couple of weeks ago to deposit a check from my own business that I own, every other branch that I have been to I have had no issue depositing and getting my funds. The branch manager Heather here is the worst. She didn’t even take a glance at my account to see that I normally make this same transaction and made it clear and rudely that she would not release my funds. The attitude she gave me was extremely poor and uncalled for and had a smug attitude basically saying she doesn’t care under her breath. Avoid this place. You will have better luck and treated better at all the other Golden 1s.

17 people deep line with two tellers, who are doing everything they can to keep things moving. This is a fantastic way to lose customers (and start a riot). Gotta do better than this. Last three trips to this bank have been almost as bad.

After over 20 years with Golden 1 I am so glad that I recently changed to another credit union. I had no idea of the benefits that I was missing out on. My loyalty to Golden 1 cost me a lot of $.

I opened an account online as it was relatively easy. Took a paycheck in the branch in Carmichael and said I wanted to deposit it. I knew my account was new and though they would put a hold in it for 3 or 4 days and I was willing to do that. Well they wanted to put a hold on my check for 9 business days. With banks so interconnected a clearinghouse takes usually no more than 48 hours. Told the teller give me my check back and deposited at Bank of America where I have been since 1994. So my 5 dollars used to open the account will sit there for a couple of months since the excuse was it was a new account. Almost 2 weeks before I could access my funds. Not worth it, go to chase or us bank or Bank of America. Bullshit operation

Not just this location. This bank is horrid. They took my rent money when I told them I couldn't make a payment. They kept telling me to fill out hardship paperwork I didn't qualify for at all. They do the math to push a loan through and then ask how you got a loan. Like, yo, you did the math not me. Today, the ATM wouldn't dispense my money despite saying it did. I walk immediately inside to wait 20 minutes to be told I have to file a dispute despite the fact it was the machine. Then, pull out more money as if I can afford that because they simply wouldn't give me my money. She admitted it was the bank's mistake, butthey're going to investigate the 'dispute'. Terrible business and customer service is not a thing. They control your money like it's theirs. Go elsewhere. Even Wells Fargo has had better customer service in the past.

Okay. The customer service as far as the employees are concerned are really pleasant. It's just staffing that needs attention. Their are only 2 tellers on a Friday before the first of the month when they open. They're is a line around the corner already. Please address this with other offices.

Always a terrible experience. The personal bankers one girl in particular never wants to do her job or help you. You always feel like your inconveniencing them. I can count on my hand all the times I’m told we can’t help you can’t be helped at this time. We went in and over heard another client tell the personal banker who was free that was they were hacked I overheard her tell them how that had to wait and may not be able to be seen. I understand the appointment factor but she was unoccupied when the other bankers were busy yet she was so unwilling to help anyone. Happy to tell you to go online or to another bank.

I love the staff at Golden 1 they are very nice, friendly as well as helpful. They even fixed a problem that I had. I highly recommend Golden1.

I'm standing in line for 10 mins and the line is literally piled up to the door and only two bankers working while there seems to be 3 other people not working claiming to be supervising.
