Good neighborhood club. Dues are very reasonable given the amenities.Glen Oaks is not any louder than one would logically expect a place where kids and adults are playing sports and enjoying life. We visit the club regularly and have never (other than swim meet days) experienced the club to be excessively noisy or crowded by any means. It would be nice to have a system of keeping non paying visitors out but then again that would probably increase dues so perhaps not worth worrying about?

We came here for the end of the year 7th grade celebration and I could not believe how awesome the staff was and we are so thankful for all of them. Thank you again for all you did for our kids and the staff. I will definitely recommend this again for this Next school year. Ms. Brister

I've never swam here, but my mom was a swimmer on the team back in the 80s to 90s. She is on the mvp board, Melanie Willis.

This is a family-friendly swim club where lifelong friendships and memories are made. My family has been part of the GO community for 7 years. Besides the amazing swim program, we enjoy weekend bbqs, wine/beer tastings, pickle ball games, and many other activities at the club. I highly recommend GO!

We LOVE Glen Oaks! We started there when our toddlers first needed to learn to swim as they did swim lesson by Roxanne and crew. All 3 of our kids then went on to swim on the swim team and are now teenagers. They participated in summer camps and parents night out. Now, my husband and I play pickleball at the men’s, women’s, and co-ed nights! Glen Oaks is a community, a family, and a place where our family feels connected, supported, and loved!

0n 3/6/21 my 13 y.o son and his two friends went to play basketball. When they arrived they were questioned by two ladies. My son was asked if he how did he get in, was he a member and what was his dads name. My son told them that he got in through the door that was propped open and even if the door wasn't propped up and he would've use the code to get in he gave his father's name and the ladies replied that the name wasn't familiar to them. Fast forward 15 minutes later my husband arrives and begins to play basketball with our son and his friends. The same two ladies including a man come on to the basketball court (in the middle of the game) they started questioning him. Asking him how did he get in there is he a member. My husband said he had a membership and gave his name they said that he didn't look familiar. My husband replied that they didn't look familiar either but that didn't mean they weren't a member. I am not sure if these people are security or what. All I know is that I'm left to pick up pieces. My oldest son was shocked and embarrassed by this incident. My 10-year-old son stated he never wants to go back because he doesn't want to see those ladies and get in trouble again. My husband was throughly embarrassed. I called and left a message the very next day and yet to hear from anyone.

If you are a neighbor who uses this club as a cheap babysitting option, then you will likely hold them in great esteem, despite the noise nuisance they are to the neighborhood--from 6am during swim season (including weekends!) to 10pm.Even if you live some distance from the club the noise is very noticeable. During swim practice/meets, they have an electronic countdown that is loud and obnoxious. If you enjoy sitting in your backyard and having a refreshment after a long, stressful day, forget about it. So, if you're a parent who needs a relatively cheap place to drop your kids off, then it's great. But if you're someone who enjoys peace & quiet, I'd say move far away.

Vintage club that still retains its original ambiance. Family friendly and very good facilities. Produces Olympic calibre swimmers in a neighborhood family swim and tennis club environment. Reasonably priced, great deal.
