I love a Better Moving Company. They have moved me 8 times and the last move was out of the country. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I am truly grateful to them for all they have done. Wonderful company and wonderful people. Grazie millie❣️

I've used A Better Moving & Storage Co., at least a half a dozen times moving family members and my own things. The service has always been excellent with hard working, respectful movers, no damage, at a competitive cost.

A Better Moving Company in Sacramento made our moving experience seamless! We used them for both moving out of our house for a remodel and moving back in, and they exceeded our expectations each time. Movers Will and Will were exceptionally helpful and professional, ensuring everything was handled with care. Highly recommend their services for any moving needs!

A Better Moving (Jeff, Tony and Zach) were outstanding when they recently moved our home furnishings and belongings. They carefully and expediently loaded, transported and unloaded pretty much everything we owned in our 2000 sq ft home. The rate was very fair. All done in about 5 hours from start to finish. Highly recommend A Better Moving.

I wouldn't recommend
They were late
They don't make sure your TV is wrapped in bubble wrap or something to make sure it's safe so now my tv is busted and then they tell you to file a claim
They dropped boxes in a puddle on the stairs knowing they knew that now cloth are wet and smelly thanks and then they were dropping stuff that messed up a table leg and I'm pretty sure they double charged me because 626 and 40 tip just to move two couches and maybe 10 or 13 boxes and from Carmichael to west sac save your money and stuff !

I had an emergency move. A Better Moving company answered immediately.Two incredible employees were dispatched within 3 days. Respectful, intelligent, kind and so helpful. I called them back to finish a job 4 days later. You can't go wrong with this company ...I will use them again. Ask for Will and Will.

I was very happy that they could accommodate my schedule and had good communication. The movers arrived at the destination on time, but had moved some things not on the list and did not bring others. Luckily we will be going back to the original place and can straighten it out so not fatal. The only real downside was having to pay for boxes that were not in the original estimate and were only used in transport and then were given back before the movers left so it seems like that should have been a lesser charge, but I would give them 4.5 if that was allowed.

I have had the pleasure of working with A Better Moving on three different occasions over the past five years. One project was a shorter one-day move and the others were two-day moves from Sacramento to the Bay Area. Everyone I have worked with has been attentive, polite, cheerful, hard-working and motivated to do a good job. A big shout out to Will, Will, Billy, Curt and Jacob! They actually make the moving-day process a fun one. They were spot-on with the initial proposals, knew exactly what size trucks were needed for each project, packed every piece to perfection and we never had any damaged items. I highly recommend A Better Moving for any move either in or out of the Sacramento area.

This was all about the two gentlemen that moved me vs. the company itself. They were prompt and professional and went above and beyond. If you use A Better Moving (price is "reasonable", but not the best), ask for Will (X2). Yes, both guys are named "Will". They did a fantastic job at moving my mother-in-law into her apartment. They were considerate and courteous as well as patient with her. 80+ year olds can be emotional and sometimes unreasonable. This didn't phase either one of them. Great job --- and great guys! A Better Moving is lucky to have them working for them.

I couldn't have asked for a better moving and packing experience. No issues with ANY item. Tackled a difficult (at best) room. Stuck to the estimate and delivered on time, and in time. No complaints from anyone , and unbelievably kind besides.

I contacted this company in Fair Oaks because a client of mine referred them. My 90 year mom had been living in an independent living apartment in Citrus Heights (The Crest) that decided to shut down the kitchen and take away the housekeeping and security. Since mom only had a microwave, we moved her in less than 30 days so she wouldn't have to figure out to eat. She had also had the apartment treated for the last 30 days for bedbugs (which appears to be an issue here). When I contacted A Better Moving Company, I informed them that the treated room was not being moved. We only needed a couple of loveseats, a chair a few tables and a small hutch moved a couple of miles. The gentleman I talked to said fine. When the movers got there, they went to see the scope of the work and I showed them the living room. When they headed back to the bedroom, I told them that the bedroom furniture was not going as precaution even though no bedbugs had been seen nor had mom been bitten for about a week. They left the apartment and before they returned, the owner, Steve, called and said that they were not going to move my mom and it would be best for her to wait another week (already waited 4 weeks of treatment) or walk away from everything she owned, even though it was clear of any contamination.. They left her high and dry because one of the movers literally lied and told the owner that he had seen bedbugs. If this was an issue when I originally called and explained the situation, I should have been told at that time that they would not move my mom. Fortunately, my assistant was able to rent a U-Haul, a dolly and some blankets for the afternoon while I made a frantic call to my husband and son-in-law. I headed to U-Haul got the truck and had her moved that day. Mom has been settled for a month now and there is no trace of bedbugs, Steve! They had no concern for leaving a 90 year woman on the streets, if she didn't have family to jump in. Do not trust this company to do right by you. Mary Philippsen Citrus Heights, CA
