Cute family run place to not only find handmade, unique gifts but there's also a business center inside. Say hi to the store mascot, an adorable pup named Gus. The owners, Jeffrey and Randy are fun to talk too and are very knowledgeable about the village.

Just moved to the valley and so happy to find our forever home. I prefer to shop local and discovered Avant Garden. Purchased a whimsical piece of local art from owner, co owner, Jeffrey. Received such a warm welcome and delighted in the beautiful merchandising and assortment created in tandem with his wife Randy. I will be back.

What a FANTASTIC store. Not only is this a great stop for unique and creative gifts but they also have a FED-X shipping facility in house. If you are in the Carmel Valley Village and want to acquire a memorable gift or ship a case of wine, you couldn't find a better boutique. The owners and their plump little pup are worth a KAZILLION STARS!
