I was a feeling a little anxious about the packages I was mailing until I ended up at Will's window. I wanted the packages to reach their destinations on time, and expressed my concern to Will... Right away his chill demeanor and knowledgeable experience with the USPS mail system put me at ease. Before I knew it my packages were dealt with, and I was feeling relieved that they were in good hands and on their way. Will is a real asset to the USPS - they're lucky to have him!

Wonderfully helpful staff. They’re always quick, kind, and professional. Helped my mail hundreds of parcels through my nonprofit :)

Pay your TOW BILL! Postmister Jorge L Gonzalez. You are the type of person that gives the Post Office a bad name. We need less of your kind representing the Postal Service. With your 33 years of experience I would think you would've developed some customer service skills, maybe it's time to retire. Luckily I know people above your pay grade that got this resolved in a few hours , instead of 6 weeks. We just needed the card number and you could've handled this amicably but you decided to go this route. I wonder why you ended up in Carmel? The Post Office is always just sweeping the dirt under rug....

Mail is not delivered some days and when they deliver, it is late evening. They do not answer the phone when I call my post office. What is going on?

I keep giving this post office a chance because I live so close, however I've just left disappointed again with the extreme unhelpfulness of the staff .... in particular a gentleman in the second chair from the left (Mike)! Everything seems to be a huge effort here like simply taping a box, and when you check for labels but there are none (not restocked) thus wait in the long line and are admonished for not having a label, that's when I'm finally done!

Really lousy customer service from manager JR. We have rented a PO box at this location for many years. Since we live out of the area most of the time, it's really convenient to have a local delivery address. We paid our most recent bill ($166 annually for a small box) by mail one week in advance of the 1/31 due date printed on our bill. A few weeks later, I was in town and went to check our box, only to find I had been locked out. When I asked to speak to the manager (JR) he advised me that notices were slipped into boxes in early January that customers had to pay for their renewal by 1/9 in order to avoid a rate increase to $198. If you were out of town during the holidays and didn't get the notice, too bad. Even though we had paid the $166 bill on time, he demanded an additional $32 PLUS a $25 late fee. According to JR, we were responsible for accessing our box on a daily basis in order to receive and act on any such notices of fee increases - even those which conflicted with the bill we were previously mailed. Really? Daily? Where is this ridiculous policy written? JR insisted that this requirement was printed on the USPS PO Box application, but couldn't show me where - because it is not. Bottom line, this Louis DeJoy wannabe could care less about being fair to loyal customers.

I have had the Carmel Post Office at Crossroads lose packages, carelessly handle packages until they are broken or smashed, and received other neighbors mail and packages. They continue to say the item was placed in my mailbox, but upon inspecting, the package is not there. They will not answer the phone, so I have to make a trip to the Post office to inquire, only to be met by the clerk saying 'well someone must have stolen it out of your mail box'. They are rude, unprofessional, and inept at a simple task of finding the right mailbox. I only wish I could use another service for my mail and packages. Unfortunately, Amazon only uses USPS. The latest package lost was a pair of eyeglasses that originally cost $1,000 that had been repaired and shipped. The company did not insure the glasses, so I am just out $1,000, thanks to the Post Office.

I had not received an important mail I was expecting - Linda/Lulu went to the back once in the AM and later in the PM and found it - best of all she was cheerful - answered the phone and very helpful.

Very good people. Crowded since residents must get their mail at the Post Office. Small, old town

The Carmel USPS is the most unreliable service for packages. SEVERAL times we were notified by the businesses (not just Amazon) that our package was scanned and delivered, only to find out that neither had occurred. After our packages were delivered to another address, multiple times, I went to ask the USPS supervisor if they could ensure that our packages could be delivered to us. He refused to meet with me. If you need anything delivered with reliability and timeliness, use United Parcel Service, FedEx or another USPS office

I'm sorry folks if you have to wait in line or if you think the staff is slow or "jabbery"... please go to another post office if you are that impatient. I was a home health care provider for the VNA for nearly 45 years and know how confusing rules and regulations can be for the elderly. The USPS is no exception. Time and again the staff try to be clear and patient, explaining things, and their friendliness is often the only smile or human connection these customers get. One of these days it will be your turn and you will be most appreciative of postal workers such as Will and his crew who do their job and, at the same time, brighten your day.
