One of the things I look for is what a company does when things go wrong; what’s their response.In my case there was an issue with communication and part ordering.I’m happy to report that Hearth Shop FULLY resolved my issue and ultimately made me whole. In addition the technician who worked on my wood stove was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job.Great job!!

We had this company come to our home, take all measurements and disappear for 6 weeks. We finally heard from them and they said they’d get our fireplace elements ordered and finalized. That was over a month ago…. So far it’s been 4 months since we started this process and all we have is silence… and an empty fireplace. You may want to simply order what you need on Amazon. Way faster and less painful.

Customer service is excellent! Will even give you recommendation, owner comes out to your home do the measurements and will order exact size you need. I love most all merchandise, if ask they're so good at give their opinions. I love the shop!

This store is cozy and inviting. But make a point to patron because of its one of a kind home accessories and excellent customer service and accommodating staff. Guido is truly magnificent with his styling magic and dream worthy home-scape. This is one of those shops you linger in and let you eyes delight in what you'll bring home. We came to Carmel to celebrate our anniversary, and decided to walk these shops. Running out of time, I made my husband return on our way out just for this store. I'm so happy I did. I asked Guido if he had owls. He gladly showed me the inventory he hadn't put out yet. Little did I know he designed the trees in one of the vacant shops that I admired. The designer himself shared his vision with me. Thank you, Guido and staff for sharing warmth and beauty at a time when we could use more of these delights!

We bought an Osborn Wood Insert from them. In addition to poor communication and delays they measured our fireplace incorrectly leading to a smaller than necessary insert and very large surround. They also have no service and we have had nothing but issues with our insert. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

We bought an Osburn wood insert. They have terrible communication and had numerous delays. Additionally they measured incorrectly resulting in a smaller than necessary fireplace and large surround. We still have issues with the insert and they are virtually useless to help. Don't buy from them.

Look for new business location, formerly at the Del Monte Center,
now (starting Fall 2015) in Carmel at Crossroads on Rio Road.
