I haven't been able to take a picture of my hair that shows how amazing it looks- my hair frizzes into a pouf in the rain and moisture. For a girl who swore she'd never dye her hair, I am now a convert! Can't get enough glances at my hair and what a change it really makes! Joette was professional, very fun to talk to and explained everything she'd do to my hair before she did it. She knew I was rather scared since I'd never colored my hair before but I fully trusted her and I am glad I did. She added some more natural colors to my hair and brought out hints that I never even knew I had in my eyes- like caramels and bronzes, even lighter pieces underneath to accentuate! The best part is now when I put my hair up in a bun or do braids, I can see contrast and it makes my hair look so much better. I loved my experience at the Salon!

This review is very long overdue. I have been going to Joette since before Lincoln Lane. In 2004 I had very long hair, had just moved to college and decided I wanted it shorter. I walked into the salon she was working in and asked her to cut it short- do whatever she wanted, but cut it off. She gave me a beautiful short style. I loved it so much, that Ive been going to her ever since. Whether it be long luscious locks like I have now or short sassy pixie layers like I had then...Joette is by far a women who can show you a style just right for you. Over the years she has given me length, style and color. Her coloring skills are amazing. She keeps up with all the current trends and is constantly taking classes to be prepared for whatever a client asks for. She does special occasions and sells products in her salon that I frequently need. I highly reccommend her services for any and all occassions. Thank you Joette!!

Loved Zoe!! She did a great cut, color and style for me! Was very disappointed with the other salons I have tried all around Monterey so this was amazing!! Zoe was very friendly, got back to me right away, spent her time going over all my ideas and left me with fantastic results! She was also reasonable! I will totally be going back!

We walked in and Zoe did both my husband and my hair in an hour. She did what we asked her to do and did a great job. She is also very sweet and fun to talk to.

I wish I'd been able to see what the salon is capable of, having read good reviews & having seen very nice photos. My wedding was 13 months away when I first reached out to Joette in December 2014, via her own website's contact form. Unfortunately, I'm not always able to make personal calls during normal business hours, so email worked best to arrange an initial discussion. Trading emails took days, and we struggled to schedule a time to talk.... but it was the holidays, so I understand being busy. After several exchanges, we scheduled a call over a week in advance.... and she didn't call. Literally a week later she wrote back to the same email confirming the call that she missed, asking if I had follow up questions..... Huh? When I replied "you missed the call, I assumed you weren't interested", she replied almost immediately (tada!), saying she has three clients with my same first name (does that mean she called the wrong person?) and that she's not available in January 2016. The message is clear -- if you hold her accountable for misses, you may end up persona non grata. Frankly, I can't take the risk that the appointments are treated the same way. Hope your experience is better!

Joette did my hair and makeup for my wedding. She was awesome. My hair looked so amazing that I didn't use the floral comb I ordered. My eyes are sensitive to bright light - and, for some reason, it was particularly bad that day. Joette was so patient with me and let me take small breaks when she did my eye makeup. Thank you Joette!!!

Joette and Mayumi made my mom and I look fantastic for a wedding over the weekend. They were a pleasure to work with and the results were divine. I was wary because I was coming in from out of town and had only done my homework through Yelp. Every glowing review is true.

While visiting Carmel from Boston, I was feeling a bit long and shaggy. So I checked out hair salons. Joette and her lovely salon at Lincoln Lane were highly rated. I couldnt be more pleased. SHe has me looking and feelng like Jenifer Anniston and we had a wonderful time chatting away. She knows her hair and her products. She's great!

Joette was absolutely amazing to work with and her work is beautiful! I just got married in Big Sur in August and Joette did my make up and my hair, and it came out absolutely stunning! She is very sweet, kind and listens to what you want, and is flexible if you change your mind. I never felt afraid to tell her I did or did not like something. She is very accommodating as well and drove all the way to Ventana Inn and Spa to do my hair and make up. I would recommend her to any bride getting married in the area, as she is the absolute best!

Joette did my makeup this last weekend for my weeding and did a beautiful job. True to all her other reviews, she will make you look like the best version of yourself. She takes pride and time in finding out how much and what color makeup you usually wear and taking it one step higher for your big day! She is also a very good listener and easy to work with!

Joette did my makeup for my wedding and it was terrific! I am a shy makeup person and I was so nervous about having it done. Joette did a terrific trial and the day of was even better! Even my fiance commented on how natural and beautiful it was, and he likes makeup less than I do! She was punctual, professional, and really gifted at makeup application. Her assistant was helpful and personable. I wish I had more events to attend so she could work her magic again! Thanks so much!

I love Joette, she is a talented and sweet lady who made all my ladies look like movie stars on the big day. Joette has true talent and was able to create exactly what i wanted! My hair is pretty flat and falls out rather fast, but her make-up and hair lasted all night and into the next day! Thank you so so much Joette for doing such an awesome job, I wish you were closer by cause then I would go to you regularly :)

Joette did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my wedding. I was glad I did a trial run so that i had a better idea of how long it would take and could get an idea of what i liked and disliked. I sent her photos in advance of my dress and what style of hair and make up I was going for. She did a great job. For the wedding I put her in a last minute time crunch because my photographer wanted to start earlier than anticipated. She cam in early last minute and worked quickly to get me done on time. The make up was beautiful and stayed put all day and night with some touch ups to the lipstick. My hair did not fall at all... in fact I had a hard time two days later geting the style to come out. She must have used 300 bobby pins :) She is very friendly and she makes time fly. During the trial I thought I was there for 2 hours but it turns out we were chatting for closer to 4.
