I had a very good experience recently when I needed help with my account. Christopher in Financial Services was very thorough and considerate, doing everything he could fix my problem and help me to understand the process Thanks Christopher!

Went into the Salinas branch and opened an account. the people there were very friendly. Brian and Edna were very helpful and the bank manager David came over to introduce himself. Very helpful people, personally based on that experience , I would recommend Monterey credit union.

Always helpful and friendly. I've done business here for years and would never go back to any of those "big" name banks.

- Read all the reviews, all the way to the bottom on this place.- Employees are not friendly, they know nothing about being gracious and pleasant, and I attribute this to management.- Their lady named Maritza is the worst. She's rude and bossy, and she does not listen. I will never do business at the Salinas branch, nor any other of their branches. Their board chairman and board members should be embarrassed.

Credit union is the worst. They do nothing to help with loans. We had gotten a pre approval at the branch. When I went to the dealer they did not want to push the deal to CUDL. They required a new application and run my credit AGAIN. JULIE who was the rep was completely ridiculous, she would not be willing in trying to make the deal work. Definitely not working with Monterey credit union. I also encourage anyone who has bad experience to go to the Better Business Bureau so they improve their services.

Was visiting from out of town. This CU isn't part of the credit union co-op (ie Golden 1), so ATM charges $3.50.
