Customer service is not dead. Shelly worked with my husband to help him get the perfect gold bracelet for me. When the first one was a couple of links too small, she graciously worked with us to get the exact same bracelet made but the larger size for me. She was upfront and communicated with us as needed. I finally found a local jeweler!

Amazing service! I had just received a new Infrared chain link watch as a gift but it was too large so I spent the day searching around Monterey for a place that could adjust the size. It was a Saturday and not a single place was open except Mark Areias. I called and Shelly told me that if I swung by she could see what see could do. Not only was she able to do it but she helped me to make sure it fit just right! Fantastic service, thank you very much Shelly!

The best jewellery shop in Carmel! Love the service in this shop. We have been in a few times to see specialty pieces and to get jewellery cleaned. Shelly is always super helpful and knowledgeable! She makes us feel like family and knows our needs before we do. Giuseppe is great as well and very nice! He assisted in cleaning my engagement band and wedding ring the weekend of my wedding and could tell he really cared. They absolutely shined! This shop is a must when visiting downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Shelly Devine is beyond helpful when searching for an engagement ring! She helped us look at different gemstones and customized our ring setting. I absolutely love the settings they have here for rings. She kept us updated all throughout the process of having our ring setting designed, shipped, and set. Make sure to visit the store when Shelly is working because she is the best!

Love Mark Areias Jewelers!! Historically, they helped me with my Cartier Tank. More recently, I bought a sweet diamond bezel ring. They sized the ring and shipped it to me in Ohio - just in time for my husband to give me on my birthday. Shelly, the Gemologist, was helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasure!!! I think this is one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. The necklace is so stunning and Shelly was so helpful in the purchase and shipping. It was for my 5th winning anniversary and I can't think of anything I would have liked better!!I am definitely going to shop at the store with restore in person when I'm in Carmel.
