First time going to Carmel and we chose this hotel based on a recommendation. I’m so happy we chose Lobos Lodge. I couldn’t have asked for a better location with minutes from the beach and shops. Room was super clean and spacious. Mark the front desk attendant was so nice, and very knowledgeable. My only complaint was the bed was super hard and not very comfortable. Next time we go we will bring a mattress topper.

Our room offered a large bed, a living room space and furniture, a breakfast table (continental breakfast delivered to the door in the morning), and a decent sized bathroom. It also had an outdoor patio with two chairs. The location offers easy access to the beach, local shops, and restaurants. Only a short trip to 17 Mile Drive and Pebble Beach golf course and clubhouse.Rooms: Nice size, with a large bed, living area, and breakfast table. Nice bathroom.Nearby activities: The beach has stair access and a trail along the street. Many small shops offer gift items. Restaurants are also good.Safety: Extremely safe town, and the lodge provides guests a souvenir flashlight for walking after dark.Walkability: The location makes it possible to walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants.Noteworthy details: The continental breakfast delivered to the door was a nice touch. The owner/manager was very pleasant and offered great ideas for activities.

Fault less this was our second time visiting we were again very impressed they even gave us the room we had back ten years ago.The room rates are top-end but worth every penny Big and spacious Queen beds sofa bed lovely chair's big TV huge walk in wardrobe huge bathroom views to the sea... breathtaking all areas very very clean outside space lovely very much like a boutique hotel...staff were exceptionalComplementary coffee biscuits and pastries lovely delivered breakfast continental to our room .. just amazingWithout a doubt, we will visit again highly recommend if you want to be near to beach and restaurants perfect location and yet so quiet.If I had to say anything at all it would be when changing rooms prioritize existing customers first it wasn't a problem at all the staff were very apologetic which makes all the difference.Thank you for our wonderful stay.Rooms: Pure luxury fabulous viewsSafety: So safe small lovely Boutique HotelWalkability: Virtually around the corner from the Beach restaurants bars anything you require it's literally two minutes to five minutes away.Food & drinks: Breakfast everyday was so tasty complementary coffee biscuits pastry again couldn't fault it..Noteworthy details: Definitely recommend this place without doubt the best I would say in Carmel by the sea.

Great location and beautifull room. However the room smelled of gas but they did nothing about that. But because we were so tired we stayed. Because i'm paranoid I slept with the windows and 1 eye open.Other then that, room was good size, coffeemaker was great and luxury products such as bodylotion and complementary water.Breakfast was 1 muffin, 1 activia yoghurt and orange juice..

This is our getaway from all the daily madness life brings. Just a couple blocks from the beach and everything you might need for a long weekend just walking distance away. Check-in is in the afternoon.All the rooms we have stayed in were clean, inviting, and ready for us. Our favorite rooms to stay in are the ones with the balcony facing the street. The rooms are quiet, roomy and cozy , all with a fireplace. Our visits to Carmel are usually in Feb./Mar so there is usually still a chill in the air. Management is always professional, welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this place! A bit pricey, but definitely worth it!!!

BE CAREFUL!This hotel is a big fraud! There is no internet there and when you ask about that, they keep forwarding you to the next person! The reason they gave us was like since your room is at the end of the property, you don’t get good internet and we can’t do anything! This is ridiculous and ruined our vacation!

The location was nice and the service was good. But for the price, I expected nicer, specifically the bathroom. Rust in the sink, tub in bad shape. 6 weeks later, kinda sad they do not care enough to respond.

This is a great place to stay, right on ocean st. close to restaurants and shopping just up from the beach. Rooms are always clean and staff are so friendly and helpful. I stay there every 6 months when I go to carmel.. thank

Love this place. Wife worked here when it first opened and always wanted to stay here. Only took us 48 years but worth the wait. Excellent staff and very attentive. The breakfast served to our room every morning was the best tasting fresh pastries we have ever had, not to mention the free cookies in the office. Do yourself a favor and stay here, you will not be disappointed. So close to the beach was perfect for a stroll down memory lane. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
