After parking in the basement of Carmel Plaza, I put my credit card into the payment machine to pay, but it stopped working. I contacted every possible place written on the machine for over 30 minutes, but there was no solution.I wonder if I can find the building manager.I explained the situation to this store on the first floor.The very kind store owner first apologized to me instead of the building manager and quickly called around to find someone to handle the work as quickly as possible. Within a minute, a manager with the machine key showed up and took care of everything.I am so thankful that I had the good fortune of meeting someone who responded so kindly and quickly.God bless you!

One of the most elegant shops in Carmel by-the-Sea, I think Augustina's embodies what most people expect to find here- two unique, high-end, exquisite boutiques with the perfect selection of beautiful clothing, furs and accessories in downtown Carmel by-the-Sea. As a former retailer, my pet peeve is poor customer service. In my opinion, the customer service here is exceptional. Most of Tracy's staff has been with her forever. They seem to take pride in remembering you from your last visit - a nice touch. Over the years, I'm made multiple purchases here and Tracy and her staff have always been friendly, attentive and willing to go the extra mile, regardless of whether I was spending $ or $$$+. My advice is to pop in, have a look around and allow yourself to be pampered a bit. They are also one of the oldest independently-owned businesses in Carmel by-the-Sea. Always nice when one can support a local business!

I definitely agree about poor customer service and coming from the owner herself. The other two ladies that helped me and my fiancé were pleasant and wanted to help us. When I asked about certain brand rings that they carry they had said they didn't have any in the store. While my fiancé was looking at belts that were extremely overpriced and not labeled properly somehow the rings I was looking for appeared from the back. So I take it if you look like you can afford certain things they will bring them out. I guess I look like I couldn't afford overpriced gemstones. This really turned me off from the store. Next my fiancé looked at belts and later found out that every little piece of the belt (5-6 pieces) gets charged. If that's how you want to charge customers label every piece from the beginning and not be sneaky and charge right when someone is going to pay. So my fiancé thought the belt was going to be around $600 and at the register it came to $2000! And that was coming straight from the owner! She looked so desperate to make a sale possibly to cover her rent that month! Horrible customer service. Would never step foot in there again. And I come shopping quite frequently in Carmel. There are other stores that are more pleasant to shop in. ***Our visit has been some time. I'm just now getting to write a review. And yes it was the owner. I am 100% sure of that! Yes I would hope you have things listed with the price. Especially every little item of your belts but on our trip it was not. And it's funny how you didn't mention anything about the experience I had with your pomellato rings! No thank you I'd rather take my business to other friendlier and less shady businesses.

My wife and I have been shopping at Augustina's for years. Their selections are not just beautiful and luxurious, but they are not the same things that you see in every other store. In addition, the staff has always been responsive, helpful and fun to spend time with. Time with Tracy is a bit like a 10 minute catch up call with your best friend: rapid-paced, covering a bunch of topic with a bunch of laughs tossed in. My wife always walks out with something new and beautiful, and somehow I do too (there are a few things for men there too!).

Tracy and the entire staff at Augustina's are always so welcoming and friendly I always look forward to seeing them. I never know what I am going in for but always come out with a special find. What people don't realize is that they have an amazing jewelry selection of everyday wearable quality pieces. Some of my favorite jewelry is from there that I wear daily. But they also carry my favorite lines like Fabiana Felippi and Herno. Again, quality pieces for every day use. I constantly get compliments on my Augustina's wardrobe and feel fabulous wearing it!

Just visited Augustina's again and they surpassed our previous experience! The selection is even larger and wife couldn't be happier. Service again top shelf and quality of products so incredible. Thanks for making our Holiday to Carmel complete.

If I could, I would give them 0. I was so disappointed. We walked there where the lady who greeted me turned out to be the owner. Didn't even say hi or anything. She kept following me and felt weird. Overpriced as well and bad customer service. Don't waste your tome to go there.

Disappointed with their customer service and their clothes are not worth the price they have. I walked there with my boyfriend and a young lady talked to us. She was serious, not even showing she was interested to help us. That made me walk out and I told my boyfriend we will never be back. Again, it's to expensive for the items they have and not attentive to their customers as that young lady.

Love this store. The clothes are beautiful. The staff is very attentive and friendly. You must check out their gorgeous jewelry collections. One of the jewelry designers is there this summer. He loves to dress you up with fabulous pieces. Best place in Carmel-by-the-sea.

One star is generous. I go to Carmel all the time to go shopping. On this particular day I went into this store with my mother to look for something for her to wear to my wedding. No luck as almost everything is made of dead animals. Ridiculous to kill an animal so people can walk around wearing it thinking they look good. Aside from that, we were followed around by the sales associate like we were going to steal something. This wasn't the first time either. I have been in this store before and the same thing happened. The sales associates are not helpful but annoying. They seem to have nothing to do other than hover over shoppers. Save your money and shop at a place that doesn't feel the need to murder a beaver so you can have a fur coat.

The shopping experience at Augustina's is beyond sublime! The staff are friendly yet professional and expert at assessing which styles will look best on your figure. The clothes are absolutely beautiful! The furs, scarves, leather and cashmere are of the highest quality I have seen anywhere. It is an exquisite experience to browse throughout the shop and see all of their delicious treasures. The ladies at the store offer great suggestions and have treated me like royalty every time I have visited the boutique. I ordered a custom made black cashmere fur trimmed coat and it exceeded my expectations in every way! When the coat arrived, it was made in a different fabric than I chose, but the owner immediately took care of the situation and not only was the coat redone perfectly, but she also gave me a $100 gift certificate for the inconvenience, and even honored that certificate two years later! I really can't say enough about this fine establishment, this is what all designer shops wish to become when they grow up and I can't think of a better way to spend the afternoon in Carmel than lunch and shopping for a treat at Augustina's, it is a true gem!

Best store in Carmel by the Sea! What a hidden gem...don't miss out! Tracy is the bomb.com! Four of our friends from Texas happened on this beautiful store and had a ball. Best selection of Herno jackets on the west coast. We all bought a new jacket. Thank you Tracy and Augustina's, we will be back
