Great store ... don't understand the negative reviews. High and middle end stylish clothes for everyone. Beautiful Cali type dresses. Just loved everything about this store and the salesperson was friendly and attentive. Definitely will shop here again : )

Cool, limited store, but you'll find some great things for yourself and others. Big shout out to Joanna and Jasmine for their help and hospitality. Not your typical retail sales person and is simply there to help where needed.

Ignore the reviews. This is a great store with a great selection. I got exactly what I was looking for. The customer service was perfectly pleasant - we witnessed a pretty rude interaction where the customer was rude, not the staff.

Great clothes but the staff needs work. I'm sure Michelle got credit for the sale despite ignoring us. We did purchase some beautiful Vuori items while she made some off putting comments. If you're in Carmel, spend your money somewhere else. To be clear, she wasn't young and inexperienced and should have known better.

Terrible customer service!!!! Went inside yesterday and I wasn't even acknowledged and completely ignored. I also heard them being racist against another women of color. Crazy to think that the employees make minimum wage for them to be acting this way.

I live locally and used to always love browsing around this store for cute gifts. I was here this past weekend looking for a gift for a friend and the customer service was terrible! The employees followed me around the whole store, and as I went to check out with my two items they accused me of stealing. I was appalled! My hands were always visible to the employees and my behavior was normal, there was no reason for them to accuse me of stealing. In addition, I went to check out with the EXACT items I had in my hand the entire time. I will not be bringing my business back to this store, there are plenty of other stores in the area with better customer service!

Beautifully curated, high and mid-end fashions. Mostly women but that's normal. My wife loves that the apparel are well made, fabric is very soft and fit is great. They carry names brands and nice trinkets for the home. You can find some great stuff here that is really affordable. As normal go to the rear of the store to get to the sale section. For Carmel, this store is very affordable. The staff always friendly and greets everyone coming through the door! They are not overbearing following you around the store, they allow you to browse and do your thing. Always with a smile, asking if you need assistance.

On a whim, we stopped into this cute shop on Ocean Ave. and were pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of items. Nicely displayed and there seemed to be something for everyone. Item quality and selection were quite good. The customer service was excellent. All of the staff was friendly and very helpful. Ended up purchasing some things and had a wonderful experience. Will be back!

Each time I visit Carmel, I like to visit this shop to see what's new. It's a great place to pickup a gift or souvenirs: candles, journals, jewelry, clothing, bags and other accessories. My family enjoys relaxing on the couches mid- store. They rest while I shop! Be sure to stop in. There's always something new.

Went in there & was not even acknowledged. Not even a simple "hello". Simple things like that matter it makes a customer not just feel acknowledged but comfortable I'll just go to Anthropologie.

I absolutely love coming to coast! The girls there are always so friendly and I typically run into the manager when frequenting! The manager, Chelsea? knows me by name and always knows the styles I am looking for! She found me the perfect denim today and I couldn't help but write a review! I come out of this store feeling like a million bucks! Shop here if you are looking for appreciated customer service and a well rounded selection of clothing and gifts!

I bought $425 worth of Patagonia gear and a new hat. I didn't end up needing the hat, and took it in, requesting a return for the hat only. Their store policy (which no one informed me of) was that it was store credit only, and the store manager was incredibly rude about the request for a return. Be forewarned, that their products are lovely, but that their customer service is severely lacking. Buyer beware. You're stuck with whatever you purchase.
