Wow. We loved our stay. Best part was taking the hayride to the top to visit the horses. Unlike any hotel I've stayed at.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at CVR. We had the pleasure of staying for 4 nights and it gave us the opportunity to truly enjoy what the ranch had to offer. We were checked in by Jocelyn who did an amazing job at explaining everything to us about our stay and even gave us each a welcome glass of Prosecco. Our room was gorgeous, we had the suite with the tub on the deck. It is such a vibe. Highly recommend that suite. The room could have been cleaner as we did notice a lot of build up in the shower but overall it was fairly clean.I loved that there is SO much to do. You literally never have to leave the ranch. They have hikes, fitness classes, golf, so many animals to go look at in their stables, an amazing spa, pool/hot tub with a view and much more. They have shuttles to take you to and from wherever you want to go on the ranch. Oh and complimentary apples in the morning and s'mores every night to roast by the fire pits. I liked that there is an adults only pool and hot tub. The ranch is verrrry family and pet friendly but it was nice to have some peace and quiet in that area. 1000/10 for the SPA. My fiancé and I got a couples massage with a scalp massage and it was the best massage we've ever had. They gave us a complimentary cupcake and glass of champagne afterwards since it was my birthday. I would especially recommend this hotel for families and people that want to bring their fur babies with them. It was just me and my fiancé on this trip, but we still had a lot of fun exploring everything the ranch had to offer.

I had the pleasure of staying at Carmel Valley Ranch during Thanksgiving week for 3nights, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. We arrived around 2pm and had to wait until 4pm for checkin in but got to tour the beautiful facility and eat lunch before our room was available. The room was very clean and beautiful with stunning views of the Valley see pictures below . The hotel's facilities were top-notch, including a gorgeous pool, well-equipped gym, wonderful spa and a variety of dining options that catered to every palate. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the exceptional level of service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I can't recommend Carmel Valley Ranch enough and can't wait to return next year!

We completely enjoyed our stay at the Carmel Valley Ranch by Hyatt. The staff were genuinely kind and their level of service was outstanding. We took part in numerous activities, such as yoga and beekeeping. Both of those instructors were knowledgeable and kept the class fun.Our room was spectacular! It was spacious, clean, and so comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this resort! Will be back for sure (and met several people who were return visitors).Pros--staff was all very nice and accommodating-Lots of free little events (tasters with drinks and appetizers)-yummy s'mores with quality chocolate every night-Rachel the beekeeper was so knowledgeable and kind, had a blast at this paid experience-Jose the waiter was so awesome, Nick tails were on point-very spaced out, dog friendly, so much to do on property-love the 24 hour adults only pool and hot tub-breakfast buffet was delish-the Steak was surprisingly delicious!!!!! All the food was on par with Carmel Neutral points--a couple bugs, but seriously you're on a ranch so I think it's funny people complain about this-room service took 30 mins longer than said and was cold-night light would flicker and the cover for the fireplace switch was off (overall beautiful property, great amenities, just little things here and there)

Always open and serving moderately priced food with a relaxing golf course view, this is one of our go to havens for a casual lunch. There is an open seating section in the middle for non-members or you can sit anywhere on the patio. The menu is an ever evolving grill menu full of favorites like burgers, Caesar salad, and wraps. There are also more vegan selections than before.I chose a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a salmon farro salad. My husband got a tuna melt and a Pepsi and we settled in to enjoy the view.

Ode to Carmel Valley Ranch: you are our FAVORITE West Coast vacation destination! How on earth do you manage to make every single stay more magical than the last one?? While the ranch-meets-resort property is gorgeous, and amazing activities abound, the CVR team's extraordinary hospitality is what consistently elevates the experience to ***** five stars. No, make that ****** six stars! HIGHLIGHTS:+ Visiting during lavender season is INCREDIBLE! I'd highly recommend taking a leisurely stroll from the Lodge to the organic garden, by way of swaying seas of fragrant purple blooms, olive trees, and grapevines. Breathe in the fresh air, redolent with the scents of summer! + ADRIENNE at the front desk ROCKS! She is extraordinarily sweet and caring and the *absolute epitome of sincere hospitality*! Thank you so much for making us feel welcome throughout our stay. From offering a suite upgrade at check-in (including thoughtfully selecting a suite that met our group's needs) to cheerily greeting us whenever we walked by to sharing bottled water at checkout for the long drive ahead, your kindness is next level! + Thank you to SOPHIA and IZZE for hosting the Best. Lavender Crown and Sachet Making. Event. EVER! We've wanted to attend this event for years. Though the class usually starts later in the summer, CYRUS at the Activities Desk kindly scheduled a class for us. We had so much fun! Thank you SOPHIA and IZZE also for taking us into the coop to feed the chickens and to the strawberry patch. The crowns and sachets we made are now filling our entire home with lavender goodness! + When I called to inquire about cheese tastings, which weren't available during our stay, JOHN at the Activities Desk offered to informally organize one. I happily anticipated a small nibble or two. Instead, John, who is incredibly friendly, greeted us by the cheese making window with an Instagram-worthy cheese plate and informative talk. Our socks were blown off! + Every meal at Valley Kitchen was delicious, and the restaurant team is top-notch! Every time we stay, there is something new and inventive to try (and to dream and drool about for months afterward). The duck garganelli pasta and swank ranch salad (that miso-aji amarillo dressing!) were divine! The piping-hot house bread was dangerously good. Loved the sprigs of lavender affixed to every menu - CVR excels at these extra touches! + Special shout-out to JOSE for his incredible dinner service and excellent recommendations. He even insisted on bringing out a sample of the asparagus soup (yum!) and surprised us with a unique and fun hazelnut mousse for dessert. Also, HARLAN made time to personally greet every table. He and Jose's dedication to elevating customer experiences and pride in their team's amazing work shone through their every action. + Our large Ranch Suite featured a plush king bed and fireplace, separate living room, oversized bathroom, and outdoor balcony overlooking the valley. So nice to be able to spread out and relax! + The organic garden is riotous with flowers at this time of year. A rainbow profusion of sweet peas, dahlias, and more, oh my! + Thank you to ADRIENNE and HOUSEKEEPING for the gorgeous bottle of Swing Reserve Pinot Noir, milk and cookies, and sparkling cider. You brought happy smiles to every single family member's face, young and old! + The Explorist amenity of two treats at The Market was another surprise-and-delight. We love CVR's local products and were psyched to try the Apiary Ale! + As always, we thoroughly enjoyed petting baby and mama goats and visiting the other animals at the Corral, nightly s'mores (a CVR tradition and wonderful way to meet other guests), splashing around the River Ranch pool (those delightfully-heated outdoor showers!), and munching on apples by the fire at the Lodge. CVR's unmatched ability to fuse exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, and a world-class property into unforgettable experiences keeps us coming back season after season!Whether you're a young couple searchin

Spent our anniversary at Carmel Valley Ranch. The property was too large to explore over our weekend stay. We had a nice view of the vineyard and greens. The room was spacious, plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Received a welcome card and bottle of bubbly. The king bed was firm but soft. Bathroom heated floors were a surprise and lavender bath products were soothing. The outdoor tub was blissful. it was the most serene bath experience outside of a spa i've encountered. Overall the property is a perfect place to enjoy a peaceful getaway it is perfectly nestled within nature yet close enough to the city.

This is a special place. I'm not even sure where to begin. First, if you are a traveling on a budget, this place is not for you. If you have some scratch to spend though, look no further.Carmel Valley Ranch is inland about 15 minutes and is tucked into some beautiful hills. They resort has a golf course, multiple pools, a small farm, hiking trails and plenty more. The main lodge has a nice restaurant with good views of the valley, a pool, a hot tub and a spa. In the evening they have free make your own s'mores packages so you can sit by one of the fires and enjoy a tasty treat. The rooms are equally nice. I usually get one of their rooms that has a living room as well as a bedroom. There is a gas fireplace in each as well as a deck off the bedroom. The rooms are nestled in to the hillside and surrounded by trees. Plenty of ambient peaceful noises to help you sleep at night. Most rooms are a short walk from the main lodge, but you can also call for a ride in a golf cart or shuttle if you are going far in the property. They have lots of other activities every day as well. From falconry lessons to yoga classed with goats (I haven't tried so don't ask me for details). While they do have plenty of things to do, it's just a short drive to downtown Carmel, or 30 minutes down highway 1 to Big Sur for some majestic camping, hiking or other activities.I could probably spend a week or two there without getting board. It's incredibly relaxing.
