I'm not sure his name (he was short and older), but my friends and I were looking up directions in front of the store and he came out to berate us for standing in front of the planters. He told us "ladies" to leave and have some respect (not sure what he meant by that since we were just standing out front after visiting the bakery next door) and we felt very disrespected and uncomfortable with the way he had approached us. I don't recommend coming here or even standing out front.

On our recent trip to Carmel by the Sea, we stepped into the B&G Jewelry shop. It was just befor 10 and we were the first customers. Immediately I felt very welcomed by Peter, as we told him we were looking for two side bands for my 5 stone anniversary ring. We looked as several "eternity" bands and my eye caught the gorgeous stones in a small round diamond band. It was love at first site for the perfect ring set! It dazzled my cushion stones. Peter was so helpful. Not only did he admire my ring but he knew the jeweler who made it and gave him great complements. That is the sign of a true artist. Holding their peers and competitors in high regard!! The best part of the morning was the Armenian good luck wish of the first customer of the day. Make them happy and the rest of the day is good luck! I am truly blessed with this beautiful new diamond side rings! I will definately go back to Peter and B&G. I already have some plans to redesign some rings and loose stones. Very good luck indeed!

I was on vacation and I stopped by B & G jewelers and was not intending to purchase this ruby and diamond bracelet that I saw in the window. Peter asked if I wanted to try it on, and I said yes. I wanted it to have a little more length on the bracelet, which he added a link after I purchased it. Mailed it to my home. I love the bracelet, and I get several compliments on it. It doesn't snag my clothing and it shines very nicely. Now I'm looking for a ruby and diamond ring. I have always enjoyed going into their store, because they are so friendly and have such a nice selection of jewelry. I live four hours away, and I would drive over there if I was to make a purchase for a ruby ring. They are very trustworthy and provide all the paperwork needed for any item that you purchase from them.

B and G Jewelry is awesome. We bought our wedding rings and other rings from Peter. He is so nice and remembers you even if you only see him every few years. If you go to Carmel it is a must to stop by their store. Thank you Peter.

My mother and I are browsing tourist. The man who greeted us was very rude. I was viewing a ring until other customers walked in and he dismissed us saying, "Ladies please, I have returning customers that I need to tend to" Well F U too! I couldn't believe it.

I visited Carmel for a quick getaway with my family. We found this gem in the heart of Carmel-By-The-Sea with a huge selection rings. My mother picked one out she fell in love with and she was able to get great pricing from the owners. They were very accommodating and sized the ring on her right away too. We also visited their website with a ton of inventory and my sister fell in love with the attached photo. Would come back during my next visit!

We purchased our wedding ring set at this location in 1998. We bought a 1 carrot ring that came with a certificate indicating it was a prestigious diamond. Yeas later my diamond became loose. I took it to a locale appraiser to review it and it was rated as a very low quality diamond and not what my payment or certificate reflected. STEER CLEAR OF THIS RETAILER IF TOU WANT A QUALITY DIAMOND AND NOT BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. I told them about my appraisal and diamond quality, with no good response.

I've purchased jewelry from B & G Jewelers for over 20 years now, and the reason I keep coming back is because I couldn't find a better, more honest, decent and professional jeweler & human being than Peter to work with. Alex is amazing too! I trust them implicitly and after all these years they know what I like, and don't like. I'm grateful they're still in business, as it's been a tough time for so many small businesses, and I hope they'll be around for many years to come. I would recommend them very highly to anyone wanting a great experience!

Peter and Alex, the Owners are an expert team in their industry. As they are a longtime business in Carmel we went to them for my husband's wedding ring and then after my wedding band. Both custom-made pieces by Alex we can't be happier with our jewelry and the detail in which it was made. We have bought many pieces from them over the years and will continue to buy from them and to also look to them for custom made Pieces. The prices are fair, the jewels first class and it's so great to see a local business thrive after many years in our town. From one Carmel business owner to another, I highly recommend them.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE going to B&G every time I'm in Carmel! This time I was surprised with a gift! A Tiffany's diamond ring with two beautiful emeralds on each side! I was speechless it was so beautiful!!! And I had so much fun everyone celebrated the moment with me! Every piece I get here is so unique and flawless! Peter and his brother are awesome! If they don't already have what you want, they will find it or even better make it in house for you! This is a great family and a great family business!
