Lovely gift shop..quaint and homey like the person's house..similar to a mother's home..funny..with ramen and dim sum ornaments..grateful dead guitar ornament..fun to browse in Carmel..knick knacks..rare and items I hadn't seen in a gift shop...have to keep looking for things here and there..it was funny..I walked out with my gifts..chatted..fun to go to gift shops in Carmel CA!

The lady who works here is rude and will flat out make prejudicial comments while you try to shop and contribute to this small business. My friend asked if she could learn a little more about a beaded purse. The lady's response, "What about it? Do you want to know if it's expensive?" Excuse me mam, these "micro"aggressions are unacceptable. Whether we can afford the item is none of your business. Your business is to answer customers' questions and help us purchase your products. There is no room for classism and racism. If you cannot handle that then pack up this spot and kick rocks down the hill.

I wanted to find a little starfish necklace to remember my trip to Carmel-by-the-Sea. I walked in here and boy do they have a lot of jewelry. The sales person was nice. If you pay in cash, I think there's a small discount. Lots of fun trinkets and things. I found a nice and simple starfish that was encrusted with rhinestones. Perfect! Inexpensive. I just love finding jewelry like this. Easy to pack and gives you good memories each time you wear it.

It was absolutely awful experience. We were celebrating my sister's birthday. Came to Carmel. We love this place and visited it many times. Lady ( owner or cashier) was not nice from the beginning . When my sister were paying for purchasing this lady start to ask if my sister put something in her bag or holding some stuff in her hands. We were shocked. Obviously it was nothing hiding. Nobody apologized or say sorry. We were very disappointed. Never came back.

You have to stop in here when visiting Carmel by the Sea! The gift shop is so adorable, there's something for everyone inside! I picked up two hand painted Alice in wonderland figurines for next year's Christmas presents. I wish I would've bought the chess set! Next time!

I made a purchase at Adam Fox. When I got home and entered my receipt, I found a 45 Convenience Fee for having used a credit card. I was not told about this fee. Moreover, if there is a sign notifying of said fee, it was definitely not noticeable. I think this fee, which is charged without adequate notice, is a ripoff. I will never purchase anything from Adam Fox again.

Very good place to buy some cool stuff for yourself. They have a good collection of masks, hats, handmade toys, knifes, ear rings, magnets, jewelry, home decoration items etc. prices are little high, but worth it. Parking is on the streets of ocean avenue. This place is right besides the Carmel Plaza. Staff is friendly.
