It is 2023. Why is it that everyone after me received a greeting and asked if they needed help. I hate to throw any type of color in it, but seriously. That killed my experience here. Cute items in the store but I refuse to buy anything when the employee can't even ask if I needed help when she was doing nothing. Literally live in one of the most diverse areas, and felt like some outcast.

Suzy is absolutely amazing! She puts her customers first and finds ways to help them! I so appreciate her kind demeanor and expert care. She even steamed my pants for me for the wedding that I had to attend the next day! She is awesome!

I shop at WHBM often. I was there a week ago. As other reviews stated, the worst service I have ever experienced at WHBM. Employees are unhelpful & rude & have horrible attitudes. And no greeting from the staff who talked to each other when we walked in. Took a dress into the dressing room to try. No acknowledgement from employees.No wonder I am hearing from others that the Carlsbad location has the worst customer service, don't go there. Cold, rude and condescending. The only one who is nice there is the asian lady (Chaj?)My friend just told her experience about returning an item that was shipped to her a wrong size with a size mistagged twice. The manager refused to accept the return. And what she said was very offensive and insulting to her. Basically accusing her of switching size tags and telling her that her account would be flagged. That makes no sense. Who would switch size tags and why. We both are Legend tier WHBM customers, her family spent about 10k at WHBM, over 200 orders just this year. The system is not perfect. Mistagging happens. I work at a store myself. If you order over 200 times, there is a chance that you will get a few bad orders. Life isn't perfect. We called WHBM customer service to tell them about our experiences. They apologized. Said to ship the item to them. And asked for the store number who treated us that way, and informed us that there is nothing wrong with our accounts. We buy a lot at WHBM online. Understandable if the company policy doesn't allow the return in store in specific cases, but to accuse someone of something so ridiculous is unacceptable.If you want to shop at WHBM, go to the UTC location. That's why they get the most stuff there, and way many people go there. Everyone is nice and respectful there. I would pay more to go somewhere where they treat you with respect and where you feel welcomed. No one wants to go shopping where the vibe is so bad. By the way, the UTC location had no issue with the return.

Business is always easy when things go smoothly... however, it's when things are difficult that a customer service person really shines. I bought a pair of jeans online because the style was not carried in the stores (frustration number one... None of the stores carry curvy)The jeans arrived, and were quite large. Because I already owned a pair in the same size of another style, I called customer service to see if they were pre-washed and was told they were not, and they would shrink so I should wash them.Alas... Didn't shrink still huge. So after paying for shipping, I drove 32 miles to the closest store to return them to be told that I couldn't return something if it had been washed... The manager, (apologies I don't know her name, tall, slim, long hair) ... stepped in and not only took care of the return, but offered to order things in the future so I wouldn't have to pay for shipping She agreed that the telephone customer service department needs improvement and by the time I left not only was my problem solved, but I now understand that it's a corporate issue that make shopping, so frustrating... Not the stores. After many years in retail, I'm a firm believer, that it is the lack of attention to the stores leading to these issues that are directly resulting in a reduction in retail sales...Corporate needs to step up to the plate

No customers in the store. We walked in. No greeting from the staff who talked to each other. Looked around and took a shirt into the dressing room. No acknowledgement from any employee. Then other customers came in who were greeted and offered help. As we left we paused to look at something else. Still no acknowledgement. We won’t even enter White House Black Market in the future.

I like White House Black Market, I feel so comfortable when I am shopping this stores , they always have a good staff..yesterday I went to buy a blouse so badly and I don't have time to order, but it was sold out in this store. Carla and Elise called another stores to find what I need and tell them to save it for me. Really I was grateful and I like to thank them..Thank you Carla Thank you Elise

Shout out to Christina!! I had to get a blazer very fast on the fly for an interview. I was told on a Friday that I had an in person interview that following Monday. Christina helped me an I purchased the signature blazer in white (ecru). I had already black pants and a kelly green top to where underneath. They steamed my blazer for me and I was ready for the interview. I felt confident and looked good. The blazer had the perfect amount of stretch for the several hours of interviewing. On top of that, this blazer will not sit in my closet. It's a classic lifetime piece that I plan to wear often to the office. I can dress it up or down with jeans or slacks and accessories....btw I nailed the interview and landed the job!

UPDATE: 2/2/23- I called the number. It was not “the owner” it was a general line asking me to choose from one of the following, 1 to place an order, 2…. you get the picture. So now I am being asked to call a general number, wait for god knows how to long to do what? Talk to a random customer service person? Thank you. No thank you. If this number went directly to anyone who really cared, I would have been grateful.This further supports my decision to stop patronizing the brand.Sincerely,A real person leaving a reviewOh Theresa,Have you ever watched Pretty Woman? Ya know that scene where the retail store workers were absolute Bs to Julia? Well, you treated me like that except you probably DON’T work on commission.Now, I tried returning a top “after 60 days” and I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND if nothing can be done i.e. store credit…HOWEVER, your attitude did not have to be as condescending as it was.Thank you for showing me that this is not a store I will ever patronize again!You should really work on your customer service skills.

Hi, I shop White House Black Market for most of my clothes. I love the style, the quality, the variances, the outfit ideas they share, the sales. Most of all I love WHBM employees. Kim, Marina del Rey, WHBM. THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT YOU! I wanted these sailor jeans I saw on a flyer. I waited too long to purchase the jeans and they were no longer offered. I stopped by the Marina del Rey store and checked the sale rack, no jeans. An employee, Kim, notice me searching and asked if she could help me. I asked her about the sailor jeans, she knew exactly what Jeans I was referring to. Kim knew the jeans were no longer offered, but she check the computer anyway. She found a couple of stores that show availability in the computer and she called. The second phone call, Orange County location, is where Kim found my jeans. The Orange County store held my jeans for 2 days until I was able to get them. I love my jeans!!! Thank you KIM!!! BEST customer service ever!

I've been to this location twice in the past six months and was disappointed in the customer service. Unfortunately, the salespeople were very unfriendly and snooty. The UTC location is much friendlier!

ON POINT ! My wife and I visit this shopping center frequently and love to check out most of the clothing stores. This is a very impressive store with a comprehensive range of professional attire. My wife likes their business clothes.....nice styles, good quality and reasonable prices. HARD TO BEAT !
