I had a good experience shopping for my items. It wasn't until I went up to register that I was judged and discriminated by an Asian cashier and a senior bagger, as I approached the cashier she asked me if I wanted bags and I said yes. I told cashier loudly that I'm paying with EBT,so I won't get charged for the bags. EBT is food stamps and I proudly receive this benefit due to my disability. I'm disabled unable to work and I'm on a very tight income from SSI. I'm not ashamed because I worked,I paid taxes, this is something I put into! So for me it's not a handout. I have owned 2 homes ,raised 3 sons, have had a business, have owned a lot of cars etc....so for someone to talk about someone without knowing is rude and unprofessional. I pray that neither of these ladies ever have to be single , disabled and on public assistance of any kind. So sad how judgemental and how some people think they're better than others. Last I remember we all eat and poop the same ❣️❣️ You thought you were being discreet but I heard Everything you said. Female in bakery wouldn't allow me to carry my cake in my basket while I continued shopping when everyone does it. I called into store to question this and I asked to speak to manager and she was supposed to transfer me and never did. Some of the employees are foul here at this location. But then the management doesn't even say hello and have totally forgotten about customers service.

Shoutout to Arnold in the deli section! He was extremely friendly, helpful, courtesy, and overall just had a great attitude. Excellent customer service. I really appreciated it. Give this man a raise!

I was art the Vons at 3439 Via Montebello in Carlsbad CA on January 6 of this year....I was confronted in the women's bathroom by a manager named MAYRA who accused me of clogging up the womens room toilet every single Saturday...I told her that since their Vons is always busy especially on weekends, I am NOT the only person who uses the facilities....MAYRA then followed me to where my brother, who was sitting at the Starbucks inside the store is and was still confronting me about using the restroom...MAYRA'S persistance caused me to lose my temper and yell obsenticies at her. After I left the store, I contacted the manager who told me there would be an investigation on my behalf.....I also contacted Vons via their Facebook page and was told the same....I feel that MAYRA will confront every woman who is either incontinent of experiencing morning sickness. This so-called 'woman' needs to be terminated from this store!

Very clean store, but every time I visit I notice a lot of bad produce. I have consistently seen rotting watermelons, avocados and more on display, as well as spoiled fruit in the refrigerated sections. Not sure if it's a staffing issue, but they definitely need to be checking the shelves more often.

Great location and plenty to do in this shopping center. Vons has a warm and bright vibe. Friendly service ?. The store is clean and stocked. Isiah & Gabriel are nice. They always have a fresh case with meat &seafood. I can't forget about Starbucks the coffee is on point and they get my orders right. When I can't find the new tumblers I will drive from Murrieta to Carlsbad.

I love this Vons. Very clean and well organized. A special shout out yo the sweet woman that helped us in the self checkout area. I didn't get her name but she went above and beyond to assist us. Definitely an asset to the company.
