“This was a dream come true! Ever since I first visited the Flower Fields years ago, I knew I wanted to take my mom here because she loves flowers as much as I do! Well, today I finally had the chance to bring her! She came and visited me from out of state, and it is a brief trip but I KNEW I definitely had to take the opportunity to bring her to the Carlsbad Flower Fields, and it did NOT disappoint! As someone with a green thumb herself, she absolutely LOVED seeing new colors of flowers she hadn't encountered before, and loved being surrounded by all the beauty. We took pictures everywhere, enjoyed some ice cream, drank iced chai and raspberry green tea from the Cafe- it was a perfect day! It favorite part was riding the tractor-pulled wagon full circle around the fields twice! ? It was so enjoyable, I am SO happy I was able to get this dream come true to enjoy these moments with her!”

“The most beautiful Hyatt I have seen in a long time! Service was so on point and the restaurant was wonderful!

Food and drinks: Ponto Lago was so good - Potato Tostones were so good as were all of the proteins! Service is amazing - we had 3 servers attending to our every need! And let's not forget the views - serene AND glorious!”

“Brianna, Corina, Katey & Sammy were amazing! Me & my now, husband were so thankful for all of the amazing support provided by them and all the Wedgewood team. Since the beginning of our adventure in finding a venue, we knew it would be the perfect place! It was the first place we visited, and four venue hunts later, it was the one we chose! First of all, the team is so kind and helpful. Second, the bridal suite is amazing and so many other venues lacked this option. Also, the hotel being next to it is a plus as well as being able to get a group discount for our wedding party. There was a surplus of benefits found with Wedgewood and we did not regret our choice one bit. Then the day of our wedding, there were no errors. Everything went perfect!!! People were in awe of how organized everything was & how beautiful. My husband and I truly couldn't have pictured a better wedding venue & if I could do it all again I'd always choose Wedgewood! Also - their banquet team is great! Their vendors are amazing and the food is delicious!!”

“If I didn't have Downtown Works I'd still just be working at home or from coffee shops—this place is worth it! The staff are genuinely lovely and it keeps a nice, friendly vibe with coworkers, but you're also welcome to just do your thing. I have the 24-hour access and it makes my life easier knowing I can pop in whenever I want. The space is comfortable and classy, including a nice patio outside, there's snacks, coffee, and beer on tap, plus showers and ample parking.”

“IT'S ME. - HI. - I'M THE WITCH. - IT'S ME. After the COVID era, going out in public is pretty trash now. People seem anxious and on edge. Pretty sure it's because there are a lot more witches among us (...all the quiet talk of moon circles, black flame candles, and magic crystals). Something is definitely happening... perhaps due to the great 2020 binge-watch of Charmed, Hocus Pocus, and The Good Witch. There's now a witch in every friend group. This phenomenon trends with historical precedent... in the 1600s, your only career choices were farming OR witch. These days it's not uncommon to meet a Glinda or a Celeste or Esmeralda... and they no longer wear pointy hats to identify themselves. They look normal, but if they whistle at different pitches and call out to things that don't have names... you're with a genuine conjurer of the dark arts. But there is more to the practice of the ju-ju than waving a wand, boiling up some potions, and dishing out spells with a few funny words. You want to avoid being an emotionally unavailable narcissist witch with anger issues. At the risk of being turned into a root vegetable, here are my... TOP 5 (BE-BETTER) BEST WITCH PRACTICES: (1) Lots of cooking and chopping involved... so get one of those Instant-Pot cauldrons (2) Take it down a notch. Put only subtle spells on people who annoy you: like ending their constipation right after their shower, multiple paper cuts in the exact same place, or ensuring their bath water is never quite hot enough (3) Keep your broom in good repair so you don't fly off the handle (4) Maintain a steady supply of goat blood, eyes of newt, raven's breath, and tears from virgins {_Amazon_Store_link_} (5) Move on from past transgressions. The kids who called you a witch for having green eyes? ...well the pet store does need more hamsters Pro tip: For the best tasting Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Barbera anywhere... combined with excellent service, live music, and Sleeping Tiger coffees... Witch Creek is our go-to urban winery (there's witches here but the more evolved kind).”

“Today we celebrated our son’s 8th birthday at Skyzone Carlsbad. We had a great experience! Our host AJ took great care of us and the facility was clean. We were in the party room upstairs which was awesome - lots of space, 2 bathrooms upstairs, and good AC. We put up our own decorations but otherwise they provide everything you need (plates, napkins, cups etc). I appreciate that AJ took care of everything and it was stress-free thanks to him. This was our first party at skyzone but we will definitely be back! Thank you! ?”

“Seems like it's out in the middle of nowhere, however it's near Legoland, so it's a good place to stay if that is your entertainment destination.

Rooms: Very spacious, clean and nice rooms.”

“This is the ideal place for my big brother outings. The customer service on Wednesday late afternoon was stellar. Video games and other activities are clean and updated, and overall the experience is worth the cost.”

“We booked a reservation for a queen suite roughly a month in advance and had to make a few modifications on the dates of our reservation due to scheduling conflicts.
The good:
The hotel was very nice and clean, staff was kind and attentive, pool & spa was nice and clean, rooms were clean and ready for use upon our arrival, the breakfast was great for our family of 5, location is good near Legoland and the beach.
The bad:
WiFi never worked, TVs image was very blurry and were not HD, parking was not included with the reservation, and our rates changed upon check in despite the reservation confirmation showing a different amount.
Overall I’d recommend the hotel and I’ll likely use again on my next vacation to San Diego. 4/5 for it being a nice budget place with some inconveniences.”

“Had the most wonderful stay at this property! The service is impeccable, everyone at the front desk is very friendly and welcoming; specifically Andrew A; he was very attentive and helped guide me through the process of extending my stay, even though it was 6am!! I enjoyed this hotel so much I decided to extend my room. the location is fantastic, you overlook the ocean, right on sunset cliff and the staff is friendly and always helpful with whatever your needs are for your stay.”
