My (now) husband and I were gearing up for our wedding with certain fitness goals. After doing some research, we connected with Andrea and have never looked back.We started off aligning on goals for BMI, strength, physique, nutrition (which I reached ahead of my wedding date thanks to Andrea!). Each training session was custom according to my and my husband's needs and mobility (per the FMS method). As we progressed Andrea tweaked the sessions accordingly, which kept workouts interesting and at the right level of difficulty.Andrea taught us tons about long-term health, nutrition and fitness that I am using in my day-to-day. Turning these habits into a new lifestyle has been the best takeaway from this experience.It was always a dream of mine to work with a personal trainer. And now I can confidently say that the sessions and results with Andrea are just as good as I imagined.

My wife and I trained with Andrea leading up to our wedding and it was the best thing we’ve ever done for our bodies. From the initial FMS screening, to our diet plans, and our custom workouts - Andrea provided the guidance and plans for us to reach our goals. As our strength and mobility increased, the workouts progressed as well, keeping them fun and interesting, and ensuring we continued to make steps and not plateau. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking to make meaningful and lasting improvements to their physical health.

Andrea is truly a holistic trainer. My goal was to put on muscle/weight and to generally become stronger as I get older and Andrea has been helping me achieve my goals over the last 1.5 years by focusing not only on my workouts but also on my eating habits, sleeping routine and general stress management tactics. She always listens to my concerns and goals and changes up my workout depending on how my body is reacting on a certain day in order to ensure that I’m not overextending myself in a harmful way. She’s really made me feel great about my body and pushes me to try new things each week. I would highly recommend her to anyone that’s looking for a positive mental and physical change in their lives.

I cannot stress this enough.Andrea changed my life.In an effort to keep this review from turning into a full-blown novel, I will simply say that after gaining a total of 65 pounds over the course of my pregnancy and lockdown, being on bed rest with a wound vac after 4 abdominal surgeries in the span of two weeks, and being diagnosed with diastasis recti and muscular atrophy, I had the balance, posture, and strength of an infant for well over two years. I couldn’t go up the stairs without holding onto the rails and walls with both hands, I couldn’t stand up straight for more than a minute at a time, and I certainly couldn’t do even the bare minimum when it came to body weight exercises.I’ve worked with Andrea previously in 2021 through Zoom, and she helped me become a little stronger and more functional at home. Working with her in person though, from September to mid-December this year, was an absolute game changer.First and foremost, she is knowledgeable and professional. She is the only trainer I’ve ever worked with who took my safety and comfort into consideration with every single movement, every little lift of my shoulder or twist of my waist. She is kind and compassionate. Despite my size and my struggles, I never felt judged, rushed, or pressured to push further than what was safe.I don’t know how much weight I lost, to be honest. I decided the number on the scale doesn’t matter to me anymore. All I know is I went from being an XXL to a large (sometimes a medium!), and I can do things that were physically impossible for me for years, like pushups, planks, leg lifts, squats, and everything in between. I went from using both hands to slowly wobble up the stairs while heavily breathing, to sprinting multiple flights of stairs, two steps at a time, without so much as a puff of air.I went into this with the intention of becoming stronger, healthier, and more confident in my body, and I got exactly what I wanted, and so much more.I strongly recommend Andrea to anyone looking to build their strength, balance, stamina, and flexibility, but please; if you’re a woman recovering from any postpartum complications, once you get the green light from your doctor, give Andrea a call. You won’t regret it.Stay well, everyone!

I chose to train with Andrea to prepare for my wedding. I lost 25 lbs in 4 months with her help. I've had two trainers in the past and she by far tops both of them. She is knowledgeable about health and fitness. What I love about her is that she creates sessions unique to the client and keeps it interesting by changing it up every 3 weeks, she corrects your form, but also steps aside so you can stay focused, and is so knowledgeable about nutrition too. She goes above and beyond to ensure her clients gets results. She includes nutrition calls as part of her service and is science based. I love her energy and would recommend Andrea to anyone that wants to look and feel good!

Andrew Lane is a fantastic personal trainer who is passionate about her profession and focused on the needs of her clients. She has an exceptional ability to design custom routines that correct imbalances in your athletic abilities and help you achieve peak overall performance. Her remote program is also an excellent fit for someone like me who requires flexibility but wants individually customized routines that help you progress and achieve your fitness goals.I initially consulted Andrea in 2020 as an injury had impeded my existing workout strategy and was causing me frustration. She perceptively diagnosed my deficiencies and developed a progressive strategy to correct my initial weaknesses and develop proper form. Her training regimens have surpassed my expectations and helped me develop a sustainable routine of building strength and improving my overall health. I have also been extremely satisfied with the remote program format. It helps me balance a hectic calendar while still pushing me to make progress in each 4-week evolution.I am an extremely satisfied client of Andrea’s. She has helped me exceed my personal fitness goals and I believe her fitness program is a sustainable platform that can adapt to my shifting physical and scheduling requirements.

I contacted Andrea in June of 2020 to get in shape for my wedding. The company that makes my wedding dress makes the dress to my measurements. I wanted help losing quarantine weight and also maintaining that size once my final measurements were submitted. Since June I've lost 20 pounds and I felt confident and happy with my body going into my final measurement date. Andrea created workout programs and diet plans specifically for me every month that were very easy to follow. 99% of the program was virtual because of the pandemic. I was able to do all the workouts from home after buying a few home gym items (resistance bands, exercise ball, Jungle Gym Straps) and she went over the new exercise program with me every month over Zoom. She was able to work around any injuries (ankle/knee pain are my issues) and never made me feel guilty if life happened and I missed a workout. She really incorporates lifestyle changes like consistent bedtimes, sugar intake, and portion control so that these changes can be lasting. She asks about your mental health too since stress can take a toll on you physically. If you're ready to stick to a program and put in the work, give her a call.

Andrea is amazing! I had a lot of old injuries including multiple knee surgeries, nerve damage, carpel tunnel and two ruptured discs in my back. I was very deconditioned, overweight and nervous about exercising let alone weight training. She took each one of my issues and adapted exercises and stretches to strengthen my base muscles. This increased my stability and strength helping to correct years of damage. I went from literally not being able to do an exercise to being able to do multiple reps with added weight. I also had a less than healthy relationship with food. Andrea gave me a plan with lists of foods to eat and portion examples. Throughout my training she gave me feedback and specific instructions to achieve my goals. Andrea was always encouraging me, and she continually broke through my perceived roadblocks. She is smart, strong and kind. Truly the perfect trainer. If you need help to become healthy, you need to call Andrea she is worth every penny. Word of advice… if at first you don’t succeed do what Andrea told you to do the first time!

I am happy to write this review for my personal trainer, Andrea Lane, in Carlsbad. My daughter and I have been working with Andrea for several months now and are very happy with our results! I originally contacted Andrea after a few years of falling off the fitness wagon and needing to regain strength and overall fitness. Our daughter has never had a fitness routine and along with her challenging genes, is in a precarious position with her health at a young age. I knew I had to do something to reverse the unhealthy course in our family.
