Poor quality furniture, probably made in China. Cushions are making those little balls after not very long. Dont waste your money.

Our family has been purchasing furniture through Skylar for YEARS. I have hard time making furniture decisions on my own so I love all the floor models they have to choose from and how the staff is so confident with recommending colors and size, etc. We worked with John on this recent purchase and are SO happy with how our couch came out. The delivery guys even have great attitudes and are super efficient and friendly. You can tell the staff is all really happy and well taken care of. We have always been BEYOND happy with our purchases and the furniture has held up well for the prices we have paid. In addition, they have the BEST customer service. We rarely have had issues, but they've always been resolved immediately without hassle. You can't beat purchasing from this small business. We've shopped around plenty and we are always back at Skylar's every single time!

I am utterly disappointed with my experience at Skyler's Furniture store. I purchased a couch from them, hoping for comfort and quality, but what I got was far from it. From day one, the couch emitted loud cracking noises, making relaxation impossible.
Desperate for a solution, I contacted an upholstery company to inspect the couch. To my dismay, they discovered that the couch was terribly constructed, with the wood not even flush to the frame. It was evident that Skyler's Furniture had sold me a poorly made product.
When I tried to address the issue with the owner and sent him pictures showcasing the shoddy workmanship, he completely ignored my calls and dismissed my concerns with a flippant "too bad." This lack of accountability and customer care is unacceptable.
Save yourself the headache and avoid Skyler's Furniture store at all costs. Their disregard for quality and customer satisfaction is appalling. Don't make the same mistake I did.
What we did to try and fix the issue and it didn’t fix it and Skyler the owner said too bad.
The upholstery company (not Skyler’s) put a screw in everywhere there is a staple, clamped down the front where those huge gaps were (see pictures) and put in 6 screws in each post, put a middle leg on the loveseat side, opened the front up and took off the upholstery to see if the wood was cracked, checked all the springs and made sure they were placed properly and not touching/rubbing on the wood, anywhere there was a 90 degree joint they added a right angle bracket to support the structure of the couch and it is still making a noise.

His dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction was truly remarkable. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Skylar's, and especially John, for their exceptional service and commitment to their customers' needs.

Where do I begin?! First I have to say that from the first experience walking in the shop you feel at home. The quality, styles, professionalism, and more exceed all expectations. I walked in and purchased a sofa without having to look anywhere else. Secondly, AJ and Aaron my delivery guys were outstanding to say the least! Not only did the couch NOT fit in the elevator but it also did NOT fit through the stair well. Luckily for me these guys have a “no problem “ kind of attitude and hoisted it up to the 4th floor over the balcony by themselves! All with a great attitude! They really wanted to help me and they did! This has all been a great experience and I highly recommend Skylar’s in Carlsbad!

I have previously lived in Encinitas and purchased my patio furniture set from Skylar's. Having moved to Seal Beach I decided to buy new patio furniture and once again called Skylar's. Meredith was very helpful in identifying the brand I previously purchased and in selecting the latest versions for my new purchase. I wanted to see actual floor models and identified a couple local dealers in OC that also provided quotes. Meredith and her managers worked with me on price and although I paid slightly more from Skyler's, I didn't mind because the help and previous support was invaluable.Fast forward to the delivery and I know the set was in transit. My 96 year old aunt passed away and I was having the reception at my new home in Seal Beach. I had limited seating and the arrival of the patio furniture would be of great help.Brent and his team went above and beyond to get the furniture delivered the morning of the service and was available for the reception that evening. Much thanks to the entire team at Skyler's and the great support I received with my order.I'll continue to work with Skyler's for my furniture needs.

This place is great!! The sofas are made locally in LA, so you can feel good about supporting California businesses. The selection is fantastic and you can customize your selection with different fabrics, colors and configurations. And the salespeople are no pressure and super helpful, John and Stacy were awesome! So much better buying and supporting local businesses! ??
