“I went in this past week and was lucky enough to work with Owen. I told him about the different shoe models I was interested in, since I am an experienced runner, and he did an amazing job telling me things other customers and himself liked about different models. Along with what I was interested in he provided a few of him own personal recommendations that I loved but just didn't have the sizes I needed to make a well informed decision. This was no problem as I was able to find a pair that worked out best for me! Owen was extremely attentive and helpful in my search while balancing and helping other customers at the same time. “First off, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that active and retired military personnel were welcomed customers…when I was there I even received an additional discount for Veteran’s Day. My anticipated impression before entering was that of expecting a smaller box/cubicle store you would find at the retail outlets. Not a chance! Spacious and uncommonly well organized with ALL Columbia products represented in a wide variety of styles, sizes, and seasons. And how about fitting rooms where the attendant chalks your name on the outside of the door—with a pleasing smile. The prices are most appropriate and in many instances less than what military folks would encounter for like products in a base or post exchange!”

“This store has an immaculately clean, organized, and friendly set up. The staff is very helpful and friendly. (The sales prices are EXTREMELY competitive... "Buy one/get one free." I bought 4 sweatsuit out fits for $29 each!!!) The store manager Teron really shouldn't be working here (in this capacity.) He should actually be promoted to a higher position in the company, where his skill sets, knowledge, and positive energy can be utilized for an even greater impact on the company! I hope Shiekh knows what kind of staff they have in San Diego county, because as a business owner myself, I wish I was in a position to hire the entire staff away! (Chula Vista location employees included! I visited that location 2 hours earlier, and they were just as friendly.) I'd like to give a shout out to the Shiekh executives, as they definitely have an eye for talent! THE ONLY COMPLAINT I DO HAVE IS... The company won't ship certain items from Los Angeles to San Diego. They lost out on an additional $300 in sales because they didn't have the sizes I needed in SD. (And the computer showed that they had them in LA.)”

“I went in looking shoes for the gym that are Velcro. When I went in it was busy because of Black Friday deals. As I was browsing Kennedy asked if I was doing okay and needed a size she can get it for me and showed me their Velcro shoes and what size I'd be if I were to do a kids shoe as well. She was able to kill it as she was helping families with kid shoes and get the size I needed for a certain shoe. As I was shoe fitting she was able to give me some attention and advice with shoe fitting. I left with the shoes I wanted and the team is amazing! Thank you Kennedy for the help!!”

They do still have some of the higher priced adidas stuff as well. Long story short if your looking for name brand cheap items come to this store shoes as low as $30.00 most weekends.”

“I was there yesterday to pick a pair of sneakers for my teenage son. He has sensory issues and wear PUMAS exclusively. The prices are so great, I left with two pair for the price of one, basically. The customer service is always stellar. You always feel welcome, and the staff is genuinely interested you have a positive shopping experience. Elizabeth was my cashier, and was lovely. Another employee helped my get a size I need and was a pleasure to chat with. This location feels like a throw back to when customer service was a priority.”

“This place has the best prices, everyone knows it, and it's always packed! On my visit we were looking for school shoes for the kids and I was looking for some new polo shirts. My kids found shoes they loved and the store had their sizes (big plus). I found a slew of polo shirts in their Men's apparel section. The selection was awesome, plenty of L and XL in stock. I did use their dressing room as I am between sizes... the attendants greeted me and let me know which room was opened. On the way out I was greeted again and asked if I needed anything else. Great store with awesome staff. The store is very well staffed; they had all their registers open, multiple staff were out on the floor re-folding items, re-stocking, and/or assisting shoppers. We were in and out in record time.”

“Very cute store! It's not very big but has nice displays and is set up well. I think there are 3 dressing rooms, an accessory area, and a small clearance section in the back. The girls today were all very sweet and helpful. In the past sometimes they would just be talking behind the counter or in groups but today they were all busy assisting and changing displays. Wish they had more sizes but I will go online and shop”

“Carlee was so incredibly helpful. I went to the running center to get some new sneakers for walking as I've been experiencing some pain lightly. After she explained that shoes aren't necessarily a magic bullet for pain, but putting you in the correct shoes can certainly help with pain, we moved to the 3d model machine. The machine evaluated my feet and Carlee explained the results. We when then moved to the shoe selection process where I went through 7 different shoes. I landed in what I think are fantastic shoes and i owe that to Carlee and the Running Center. Note: I went in there for shoes for me, my wife was so impressed that she got a pair as well!”
