Store is nice, but that old idiot cashier is so impatient nationalist. I asked if I can find a “bakery” in store, which is “pastry” word for native Americans I believe. He was so mad on me when realized I made a mistake. Angry. “-if your translator says it’s a bakery from your language, in doesn’t mean it’s a right word remember it.”
Truly American.
Made the rest of my day.
And sadly, but coffee is a little below my expectations.

If i could put 0 stars, i would. The pumps don't fully work as in gas won't come out, but it'll take your money. Another customer went in to tell the worker there, but the worker basically just blew him off.

The shell station and attached convenience store are both well maintained and clean. There is a huge selection of snacks and drinks to choose from and an attached drive through car wash. The staff was also helpful and nice. There are a ton of pumps to fill up at.Bathrooms for customers located on the side of the building, just ask for the key. There is also fresh made coffee at this gas station. Lots of food near by if you need something more substantial that snacks. The gas statohas all the typical amenities you would expect, but also very clean.If you don't need gas, there is plenty of parking near by.

What has happened to this Shell station????Half of the car vacuums don't work (that has always been the case) and now some of the pumps don't even work. Now, for almost two months they cannot accept payment from the pump and/or you can't buy a car wash from the pump. Then, when you go into the store to buy everything, you either get a completely clueless kid or some angry white haired guy. Are they doing this in purpose to avoid giving the discount? That's it. I'm going to Costco from now on and getting my car washes at Super Star.Shelll: you've lost a 10 year customer.

I'm a customer to the above shell gas and car wash station at 2509 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad. We do have three cars in our family and we always using the gas and also wash our cars at the above shell station at least once a week. I have been to so many other gas and car wash stations in my life and I really want to confirm that this station is the best of the best station. All station include food mart and bathroom are clean and I and my all other family members have received excellent customer services specially from manager Mr Branko. Mr Branko is awesome and he has very experiences and knowledge.He works very hard to assure to make his customers are very happy. Thank you so much to owner of the shell station who have such a great staff. God may bless you.

Avoid this place at all costs. Employees take breaks whenever they feel like throughout their open business hours, so if you do not wish to be disappointed just avoid. Tested the gas and it was diluted and not of good quality.

Absolutely terrible. $13 to leave soap ALL OVER my car. Worst car wash. There's basically a couple of sprays, a drag of some cloth, and a half hearted rinse that's cringe all the way through.
