VICTORIA IS AWESOME !!!
Victoria at the Carlsbad location is my go to advisor on everything Sephora. I loved the modern shape she gave my eyebrows and the final full face look was on point!
I’m 52, had neglected myself for years and was out of touch with much needed beauty advice. (I scheduled an eyebrow wax and beauty lesson.) Victoria was very knowledgeable and professional and I liked that she was honest with me about the do’s and don’ts according to my skin type, age, trends, etc. She really listened to me, answered all of my questions and together we created a beauty regimen. I have oily skin with uneven tones and I also wanted all natural “green”, cruelty-free products. She picked out products that worked for my skin and lifestyle. I have used the products for a few weeks now and I’m so happy with the results. Makeup is easy to apply and my face stays feeling clean all day instead of an oily mess.
I really liked that Victoria’s work personality was quiet and reserved. She made me feel at ease and I enjoyed all the attention focused on me.
I’ve been back a few times to see Victoria for full face makeup service and I always walk out very happy.

I visited on a busy Saturday and the staff were all very helpful. The place was packed and I didn't have to wait around to get shade matched, and ended up purchasing more than I set out to :) Fun place to shop because of the customer service.

the store may be clean but the costumer service is horrible. i’m at the register checking out and they seem to be rushing me and judging me for deciding what i would like for my birthday gift for a few seconds. employees don’t have to smile but atleast have patience when being treated with kindness.

I went to Sephora to buy a fragrance, I am 17 by the way. Workers were rude and not helpful to me what so ever. The second I went up to a worker to ask about buying a fragrance she switched her personality and was nice. Workers should be respectful and treat every customer equally. There is no why they should help older guests and not younger guests. Very unprofessional.

I really enjoy going to Sephora and love their products. I went in the store today to get a few things. Besides someone greeting me, not even one of their employees asked me if I needed any help. I was looking for two specific items but could not find it. The employees would walk right past me not even acknowledging if I’m finding everything ok or if I need any assistance. Very poor customer service, they just looked like they didn’t want to work except talk to eachother. Most Sephora’s that I’ve been to have always given exceptional customer service except this location. I believe who you hire matters.. the right people who actually care and want to provide good customer service so customers keep coming back.

I try to avoid coming to this Sephora. I only come here when my local Sephora doesn't have what I need in stock. Been to this location 3-4 times. I usually ask for help with something simple like where a certain brand section is or if they happen to know if my shade is in stock. Seems like every time I go and need assistance there's only this one employee or guess I should say "manager" available. It's always the same.. I ask her something then she automatically (and dismissively) says she can't help and will put me on a waitlist to get assistance. It's a busy store so I understand that sometimes you can't get an employee to assist you right away but for a MANAGER to just brush you off and not even try to figure out what you need before putting you on a list is kind of ridiculous. She can simply point to what I'm looking for (which takes 3 seconds) instead of making me wait 20 minutes for someone else to do it for her. Crazy how some people in lead positions don't care about customer service anymore. *Haven't had any issues with the other employees there.

Just had the a pretty unpleasant experience at this sephora. It's in a mall so of course it gets busy that's understandable but at one point there were well over 10 ppl standing in line for over 15 mins. A woman in front of me ask an associate named Amelia if there was anyway we could open another register after we watched her fix her hair after standing around doing/helping no one for longer than 5 mins. Amelia's reply was something you'd expect from a warriors at one of those restaurants where the theme in purpose is to be rude. She pretended at first not to hear the lady and when she repeated herself Amelia rolled her eyes, spoke into her mic and then went to open the register. She then made multiple comments about two people in line being hysterical which I assume she meant me since I agreed with the woman in front of me. Btw the woman who asked if they could open another register wasn't rude and merely asked an appropriate question given the circumstance and when Amelia rolled her eyes I commented "that's crazy" because I genuinely wasn't expecting that response from a sales associate. She ended up checking out the woman and had a very visible attitude the whole time and even pulled her I assumed manager off to the side after the transaction to exaggerate the whole interaction stating the woman was giving her a hard time. I could tell rudeness associates is a common thing here since the manager didn't seem in the slightest concerned about the customers either. Sephora is a great establishment to purchase make up but honestly use the app and save yourself the time

Had to ask for help from 2 employees who were chatting on the main aisle. Walked around the cologne area for a good 10 minutes. Was not approached once. Once I was finally helped, everything went ok.

Yesterday happened to be my birthday so this morning I came in to use a perfume gift card and get a birthday gift for myself. And when I tell you the black haired girl was unfriendly. I mean 100% unfriendly. Very snobbish. I had asked for her input on what she recommended would be the best birthday gift and she with a monotoned annoyed voice said I don't know they're completely different. There was no further interaction or even a smile like she was happy to be there. Either they need to hire nicer, kinder, friendlier people or my experience was rare.
