I decided to splurge on a color and cut for my Maltipoo Benji. Rachel groomed him and I couldn't believe how good he looked. The picture doesn't do him justice. He was a huge hit at my super bowl party and beyond. I will be back for sure!

Not one the the practices that puts you on a time schedule then says you're done. Dr. Hall is one of the nicest vets in the area. I would recommend her office to everyone.

He wasn't rushed in his appt despite having a lot to cover. Feel comfortable moving forward with surgery. Especially appreciate their increased safety standards for anesthesia, and Dr. Ecker's advanced surgical experience. Thankfully I have Trupanion pet insurance so when stuff like this surgery comes up I'm covered.

Dr. Fife was prompt in helping take care of our poodles-one which had to have emergency care. She is very knowledgeable and we are impressed with the great care she has given our 4 legged family members. The techs have been amazing each visit. The office is clean and in a great location. We signed up to use their petly plans and are happy with that service as well. Highly recommend if you have puppies!

After just 3 weeks of having our dog he managed to swallow a very large rock, began throwing up, and was very lethargic. We brought him in to see Dr. Hall who examined him, advised us of all our options, and helped us make a well informed decision in a very scary time. Dr. Hall prioritized the health of our dog, re-arranged her schedule, and rushed our pup into surgery so that we could have the best possible outcome. And with all of that she still gave us a detailed breakdown of cost and helped to make it as affordable as possible. If you're looking for a great vet who cares about the animals and their owners this is the place to go!

We took our Rescue kitty in for her first visit fully expecting to come home with a prescription for a "calming medicine" and a rebooked appointment. We could not believe they were able to do a dental check, clip her nails, weigh her, give her flea treatment (and taught me how to best do this) as well as spent a lot of time answering our questions and giving her a thorough exam. They are located in central Carlsbad - WITH A PARKING LOT - and are open every day. Best ever!

I brought my dog and cat for a wellness appointment and they were compassionate and patient. They took time with each pet to make them feel comfortable and accomplish what we needed to in the appointment. They were very helpful to carefully explain the answers to my questions, as well. It is hard to find good care for your animals, but I completely trust these folks and plan to bring my pets back. Thank you so SO much!

She was very reactive & aggressive toward other dogs due to severe abuse at age one. I am a trained behavioral psychologist but loved her too much to train her. K9 were miracle workers with her. They saved her life!!

We mentioned this to the gentleman helping us and he gave some suggestions. We got a vermicelli noodle bowl and an order of pho. Our food came quick and the portions were generous, he even gave my mom a small bowl of pho broth to try on the side. We LOVED it! Very light but still super flavorful. My mom ate every bite—she was very happy with her meal! The man who helped us was very attentive and checked up on us frequently to make sure we were enjoying everything. At the end of our meal he gave us a Thai tea to try as well and it was also yummy!
He mentioned that this is a local, family owned business and these are the types of establishments we love to support.
The place is small but cozy and extremely clean. You can tell they take cleanliness seriously, which we appreciate.
We’ll definitely be back and recommend others in the area to check it out as well :)

I get a "Flight of Four" and try 4 different flavors at once. (That is the best value / per scoop , also.) Service is exceptional! All Ice Cream must be eaten out side on benches - I haven't found an Ice Cream Shop in San Diego County where there was indoor seating - but I'm positive there are a few! So the Ambiance is the same everywhere I've been. One of my favorite North County Shops! I will return!

6965 El Camino Real suite 105-425, CarlsbadI have both volunteered and adopted from this organization and BFK is a highly reputable org that genuinely cares for the well being of its Furkids. With my initial inquiry to adopt I outlined our allergies and let them know it may not work out. They were gracious and patient and, in fact, we were able to move ahead and adopt our sweet boy (and have had him for 12+ years). Fast forward a year and we became foster failures for our 2nd pup. I highly recommend them.
