Pelican Cove Inn is an old school, charming hotel with a great and ideal location. It is an affordable and fantastic value, described as a beautiful oasis and wonderful place. The rooms are clean, spacious, large, comfortable, and gorgeous. All rooms have a relaxing fireplace. Some rooms offer a beautiful view of the garden, huge tubs, outdoor lounge chairs, and easy access. The property is peaceful and quiet, featuring a wonderful rooftop patio and lounging deck for everyone, plus a beautiful backyard area with gorgeous flowers and plants. It is a very short two to five minute walk to the beach and within walking distance to downtown Carlsbad, with many excellent cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops. Amenities include easy and private off-street parking, free laundry, coffee and tea in the morning, and very easy self check-in and out. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, very responsive, and helpful, providing 10/10 service.
Great little Inn off the beaten path but not by much. We stayed in a large room..very spacious and comfortable. Quaint lobby with coffee, tea and snack with a place to sit and enjoy. Planning on staying there again on our next visit!

Within walking distance to the beach ⛱️⛱️🏖️. Train can be loud. Nice parking inside or on the street. Owner made you feel at home.
