They don't take care of their members!! Lost $5,000 with them it was obvious the staff lied about what happened to my money I was told multiple stories about what happened it's clear that Navy Federal doesn't know what their doing.

Angel was acting incompetent and uninterested he was slow he was not clear and answered by nodding his head and saying mhm also he wrote the numbers wrong and then said oh just disregard that number even though I read it back multiple times and told him it’s not working. He was also training someone by allowing her to shadow him but he was more interested in the trainee than explaining anything to me about my account. It was painful digging for answers with someone who clearly does not make the member feel welcome or heard.

I would recommend doing as much as you can online or over the phone. The service here is incredibly slow. There does not seem to be any sense of urgency to serve the customers. I have been with Navy Fed for over 20 years and never experienced such a slow team. Will go to anotherbranch in the future.

Waited 20min in line before they decided to put on an additional teller to help. The line wrapped the entire lobby. Meanwhile the manager sat at the greeters desk the entire time and didn’t even greet anyone unless they walked up to the desk.

Came into this branch to get added to my husbands account. He came into this branch a week ago and attempted to add me and was told I needed to be there in person with him. So today, I took time off work to be there so I can be added and they have the audacity to tell us they do not have the staffing to do any of that. Apparently she was unsure if any other branch had staffing to assist us with basic needs. Absolute garbage. So we called navy federal and the lovely gentleman on the phone stated he would send us an email with a 3 page form to fill out and could do it online. Obviously the woman at this branch is useless and severly untrained. Will never return.

Complete morons at this credit Union had to spend almost 2 hours having the cash a check then they don't even cash it they are complete idiots the girls there behind the counter need to be all retrained I do not recommend this credit Union

I had to do a wire transfer and the online form was pretty confusing. So I stopped here and Emily greeted me in a professional manner. Signed me in and Jason helped me sort it all out. Successfully transferred my funds and I got out in no time. They know what they are doing. Keep up the good work.

I've been dealing with a bunch of issues with returned fees and SDGE removing my ability to pay online. *insert eyeroll* I came into this location and expressed my frustrations and they went above and beyond. Diana was the representative who helped me out and she was absolutely a delight. She was empathetic towards my money problems and did everything in her power to help. *hallelujah* When on the phone with SDG&E they let me know what the Bank Instution had to do to be able to help me. Although they (SDG&E) spewed out terms that even the bank didn't understand, they did all they could. I must mention any other time I had problems with my banking this location has always had representatives who were willing to do everything they could to help. I would definitely come back. Navy Federal doesn't have a good wrap bc of fees and all that but their Customer Service definitely picks up the slack. There are 4 stars bc of Customer Service...the one less star is because their on the phone Customer service is rude and trashy. In-Person is the way to go!!

Needed to cash a check short notice and the teller told me he could only deposit it and only give me $250. I was unaware that the policy had changed in February, but it is my fault for not keeping up on my bank's policies. I had health issues that made it so I was unable to deposit/cash my check sooner. The teller was very rude and unhelpful. A white male with hair just above shoulder length. So I went to another Navy Federal and the teller there immediately helped and was able to help me cash my check. The awesome teller at the branch on Avenida de la plata immediately offered solutions and took it upon himself to speak to a manager for me.

So I wish I would have gotten the tellers name along with the blonde manager. I had a horrible experience with trying to deposit a check at Union Bank. I have a check from a motorcycle claim where my husband passed away. My ID and account name have my maiden name, however the check has my married name. Well Union Bank wasn't even friendly or professional about letting me know I couldn't deposit it until I changed my ID, even though I had my marriage license and husbands death certificate with my married name. Well I went to Navy Fed today, and they were not only accommodating, but they were so incredibly kind and compassionate about the situation. I truly am thankful I also bank with Navy Federal and can't thank this location enough. Definitely giving this place five stars.

I've never had a bad experience with Navy Fed, whether at a branch or on the phone. Excellent customer service!
