My wonderful experience At Macy's Men's Department!In Carlsbad location happened yesterday because of Mr. Martin . this particular person was amazing and so confident in his job. We were sent home with complete set of suits and shirts and tie. From the measurements to directing us to the different brands, he made it an easy and joyful experience. Thanks again to Mr. Martin for his professional and friendly demeanor.

I was in need of a tuxedo. Martin at the Carlsbad Macys was extremely helpful in assisting with selection of a tuxedo. He is professional and knowledgeable of suits and how they should fit. I highly recommend Martin with any of your professional needs.

Don't bother shopping the plus size department here. Not only are you relegated to the top floor among the kids and clearance departments, but there's clearly zero thought put into the merchandise, merchandising and maintenance. Clothes are all over the floor and racks in disorganized disarray. Random styles thrown up on the walls with no plan. Obviously no one at Macy's from the C Suite down cares about this department.

Store is dirty and practically deserted. 1 cashier, line took forever. The quality of the merchandise has decreased significantly. No one to help you on the floor. i'm giving it to Star only because the cashier was very helpful once I finally got to her.

Went into the furniture department for mattresses . 1. There are zero sales signs for Memorial Day . 2.there was no greeting provided by older gentleman sitting in his chair nor did he bother to get up . 3. I looked around for a long time he never acknowledged me at all 4. The displays for the king coil were not in working order 5. The mattresses were stained horrible 6. I had to ask for help when he approached with no smile he said Mattress take 1-3 weeks to get that is what he said ! 7. Macys has a name for people to buy that have money that have the macys card . They obviously need new management . They have all the top brands , they could make so much money . They either have a bad training program or and or bad pay 8. They need a restructure no wonder they are closing stores . Never going back !!!!

On the second floor where they have women's, lingerie, etc. they have ONE register open with a line. I asked the clerk to call a manager and another employee came by and she asked for help. The employee said, "I'll call someone for you"! I had $300 of merchandise and I left. It in line and left the store!!! The service is getting worse and worse! All of these establishments will be out of business soon!!! I'll shop online, not Macys online either!

i was in dire need of a candle, several candles for last minute christmas presents. not a single worker to be found. trekked through the entire dismantled and disgustingly humid store. no candles. cute giraffe, had to get a picture of my daughter with it. love.

Been coming to this location since we moved to San Diego over 6 years ago. The staff are very helpful and it's always a pleasure walking around finding good sales or new items that actually fit. I also buy my husbands clothing from the men's store which he loves. There's always a great variety. As I tent to also shop on Macy's app, at times items delivered don't fit well or aren't as nice in person. There's a convenient return station on the first floor which is helpful. Typically the lines are short and move quickly.

My boyfriend would not have a suit to wear to his sisters wedding if it wasn't for Martin! We rented a suit somewhere else that just did not work. After trying on the rental they told us we would need to find a custom suit in 2 days or look ridiculous. In a panic we went cluelessly looking for something that might help. Thankfully we went when Martin was working because he was so helpful and took the time to help us find the perfect suit and the perfect fit! He was very patient and really took the time to make sure we loved the suit and it was comfortable. We went in so stressed and hopeless and left with a suit we loved! Martin is the suit master.

This is strictly for the furniture department. We bought a King bed two years ago, only to have it be defective less than a year later. We then purchased a new mattress in exchange for the first one. This time we went with a different model that was rated with rave reviews on comfort. Here we are a little over a year later to have the SAME EXACT thing happen. It was as if we were sleeping in pits, each sides of the bed sunk in. Once again we called Macy's to have someone access the mattress to replace it. The guy came in my home with his shoes on, stepped all over my blankets and bedding while measuring the mattress and taking pictures. He then tells me they might not exchange it because the mattress tag wasn't on it. Who knows what happened to the tag they come off from moving or taking sheets off. Moving on I of course called to speak with customer service who tried very hard to have an exchange made, in which they agreed after seeing the pictures that the bed was damaged and that this "series" was discounted due to this issue. Saturday we we supposed to have a new mattress delivered. My husband stayed home from work to wait for them only to have no one show up. I once again called only to be told "oh no one called you?" We don't have that mattress anymore or anything comparable to exchange. Finally I was so fed up I asked to just return my money and pick up the defective mattress. Which they did. However they told me it would be 7-10 business days for them to send the money back to my card when I was told on the phone it would be 24-48 hours. I have never felt more frustrated then dealing with this whole situation. We ended up purchasing a new mattress at an independent furniture store for way less money better quality and a 10 year warranty. Sorry Macys I will NEVER shop with you again.

Don't waste your time coming here. Not enough employees! I found this to be the problem before Covid now even worse.how can you buy something if there are no cashiers. Never again!!!

I was In there with my spouse to look at cologne today. Carmen was leaned up against the counter drinking water. She did a monotone "hi welcome to Macys" and went about her hydration. My spouse asked "do you have Valentino cologne" she walked off and seeming very annoyed said "no we don't carry that". We asked about another cologne and she let us know in her annoyed tone that it was out of stock. My spouse then asked Carmen "what was a popular mens cologne" That seemed to annoy her more as she rolled her eyes and walk away saying Sauvage and another fragrance. She did not want to engage in conversation with us to make a sale. I inquired about Chanel and low and behold they had it. She pointed us to where it was and then condescendingly explained the difference between au de parfume, parfume and eu de toilette. How dare we not know! The tip of the iceberg was when we asked how much for the gift pack. Carmen replied "I don't know! I need to scan it." Carmen grabbed the gift pack and said "God!" Then was abrupt when she said "the cologne alone is $130" then scanned the box and said "the gift set is $170". I told my spouse no thank you and we walked out. I would have loved to purchase the gift set, but NOT from her! She is rude, condescending and seemed extremely bothered she had to work that day. You all need to have a conversation with her. I would have been in so much trouble if I had treated a customer like that. Definitely no plans to return.

Zero, after almost two months having our money, received a text that our dining set is not here and it is going to be another 4 months. Ridicules, instead of spending so much in advertising and cheating people, get your business in order. Spent so much money to buy lighting coffee table and other complimentary stuff, don't know what to do. Spend so much time that we don't have on this plan. Very disappointing, don't deal with this people.
