We booked a room at the hotel thinking it was the castle hotel but it was the classic which was fine as we were told we can enjoy the amenities in both hotels. When we checked in we found out the castle hotel was closed for renovations which was pretty annoying! I thought they should’ve disclosed that ahead of time. Other than that the rooms were ok the kids definitely loved them! We enjoyed 1 night getaway overall

We loved our stay at the legoland hotel. location was super convenient, lots of hidden surprises around the hotel. The elevators were also a surprise and great every time. The restaurants required a reservation, but I booked breakfast everyday the first day we arrived so there wasnt an issue there. We tried both the bricks and castle restaurants for dinner both were good. Everywhere is a dance party, and the staff did events every night from bingo to dancing to story telling. It was a wonderful experience for both adults and kids alike. We ended up using valet parking because it was easy. All the models throughout the hotel were amazing. The pirate ship play area was perfect to spend time in before the park opened. Our kids completed the scavenger hunt the very first night and the pool is heated! but only open till 7.

Overall 4.3/5SUPER FUN FOR KIDDOS !!I took my son and my niece whom are both 3 years old and they had so much fun. There’s a good amount of activities for them. There’s a giant pirate ship with Lego pits, a treasure hunt with a prize waiting in your hotel room, characters walking around (we met two different characters for a one night stay). The characters are super friendly and engaging with the kids. A huge shout out to them because they don't just stand around and wave. The hot dog Lego character actually played and danced with the kids that were playing by the ship. During evening hours, they have a dance party from 6:30-9pm, staff members will play games with the kids, there’s storytelling, and they hand out lanyards, legos, and candy.Right by the pirate ship there’s Minis Lounge. There’s comfy seating for parents and snacks, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. George was working at the lounge and he was incredibly helpful. Shout out to him for great customer service!4/5 for the hotel rooms, they could be cleaner. The pillows kinda smelled funky and there was trash that hadn’t been taken out. I did appreciate how child friendly they are. Next to the bunk beds are night lights. Inside the restroom they have an added smaller toilet seat for toddlers, and there’s a step stool.4/5 for the food, a lot of it was a hit and miss. The pizza inside the park is pretty delicious, however the hotel pizza is bland. Steer clear of the fish tacos from the Skyline restaurant, they’re absolutely terrible! The corn tortillas were not warmed and the chips tasted stale! So gross! The Chicken tenders were dry and tasted ok. Breakfast was decent, and they had a good amount of options.I gave 4 stars for service because around 9pm after the shops and restaurants had closed, I went down to the reception counter to ask if they had any snack vending machines cause it seems like they only have soda machines, but there was no one at the desk. I stood there for a few minutes but no one showed so I just went back to my room and had to tell my kiddo there were no snack.Overall a great stay for children.

We enjoyed it. It was surprisingly clean for a place geared towards kids. Staff was all very friendly and accommodating. Only weird thing was there was no bath soap or hand lotion provided. 2 day stay was enough to see pretty much everything. Food at bricks was quite good, a little pricey but not too bad.

The location is very convenient. It’s literally next to the park entrance. Their theme rooms were great. They have 2 restaurants at the hotel, know that you must reserve a time to show up, the food was great. Breakfast is a buffet. The valet service is amazing. The pool is great too, it is a heated pool. Overall I recommend this place for a complete park experience and a convenient place to stay.Rooms: Rooms are clean and well maintained.Safety: Secure and kid friendly.Walkability: There are plenty of ramps and easy access areas.Food & drinks: There are vending machines. 2 restaurants on location. There are 2 bars and have a variety of adult beverages.

We are currently staying here and so far it’s been a horrible experience. My son is turning 6 and we ordered the birthday package, but they then asked for another $200 deposit on top of the $600 we already paid (security deposit, birthday package, and resort fee was supposedly already included in that) for a regular room for ONE night. The room isn’t anything great. The birthday package was just a small child’s blanket and a sign on the door. Our room wasn’t ready until after 4:30pm. Our luggage took forever to arrive to our room, we ended up going downstairs to fetch it ourselves. The employees are all high school aged kids who don’t know how to run or manage a hotel. This whole trip has unfortunately just been a hassle. I’m sadly excited to just go back home.

We loved our stay at the legoland hotel much more than expected. The themed rooms were great and the treasure hunt was much more generous than expected. The highlight for sure was the disco, Brendan was an absolute legend and having the banana and hotdog stop by and dance as great. The only disappointment was the pool. Having a mandatory life vest requirement is completely ridiculous. My daughter is 5 and can swim and was told she couldn't enter the pool without a life vest. Even with an adult. There were SIX lifeguards on 'duty'. This is madness and should be dropped.

My 8-year-old says this is the best hotel he's ever stayed at. There is a small arcade, dance rooms (though I'm not sure if you need to book those), a Lego pit, a pirate playground, and scavenger hunts. There are a few fee-free Chargepoint chargers for your EV. Unfortunately, they don't show up in the Chargepoint app, so you just have to get lucky to find an unoccupied one.Rooms: We booked a Ninjago room, which contains themed Lego sculptures and wallpaper. There is qi wireless charging in the bedside tables.Food & drinks: We made a dinner reservation at the Skyline Cafe and it was surprisingly palatable. Burger, beet salad entree, and mac-n-cheese were all good.

This hotel is definitely showing its age and could use a makeover. The Castle Hotel provided a better overall experience but the activities at the Legoland California Hotel offered more for kids of the 7 to 10 year old range. The rooms were just okay, not nearly as nice as the Legoland Castle Hotel. The pool is small and is certainly showing its age. The one saving grace for this hotel was Christian at the front desk. He was super helpful, knowledgeable and kind. He definitely made our stay more enjoyable and he gave our kids pointers on how everything worked and how to go about trading Lego characters. He also hooked them up with two characters to trade with since they didn't know to bring any from home. The trading turned out to be one of our kids favorite activities and we ended up buying a few more character bags for $4.99/each so they had more options to trade.

Very well done hotel! Our fully-themed Kingdom room was clean, quiet, comfortable and well kept. It seems like it was either immaculately maintained or refreshed somewhat recently. Service was great from the valet service at the door to the folks helping at check-in.

not kid friendly would never return. wont recommend. there is a rave below my room (I'm a reasonable 37 year old with 2 young kids) my walls were shaking till 9pm and they didnt say anything in warning just offered me a move after it started. by which time I had unpacked and gotten my kids in bed. huge hassle to move them and they didn't care at all. sure it's a hotel for kids buuut they only care about entertainment not your hotel stay. garbage.
