Terrible. Paying hundreds per month to continually be referred to someone else. New to Kaiser. Will not be back. Abysmal failure. Nov: book appt Dec: online appt, refer to PT, everyone gone for holidays, no replies from primary Jan: PT appt, get new primary, new primary refers to 'sports medicine'. Next available a month out. 3months of passing the buck. Ridiculous.

Kaiser as a whole has really let me down over the years. From sending me to a doctor that doesn't accept Kaiser insurance , and to finally after taking my blood and piss they DO NOT call to let me know my results, which need immediate medications! I hate this insurance and I hate this company. I would be terrified if my life was left in their hands

Save yourself. My opinion only. 8 years of not being heard even though I kept telling them what was happening and they went every direction but the one I kept lying on the floor with coccyx skin on bone which then caused sleep issue's sleep deprivation to sleep paralysis then more skeletal, tissue, muscle you need sleep to heal, but instead they are band-aiding them with meds the damage is done. Look up sleep deprivation & sleep paralysis up to 10 times a night I had episodes. Save yourself. I'm in pain everyday still fighting for my own health it so disheartening to not be heard now this. I would never recommend them and will continue to tell everyone about my experience while still doing meditation, walking and acupuncture out side of Kaiser to release some of my trauma. San Marcos specialist as well, I only have had 1 osteo doc for foot that was compassionate and respect he shared his family issues I later after surgery contacted him to see how his family was. Nice! To say his son was doing better. Listening, Respect, compassion, Trust really matter 8 years of trauma and still living it. Their member service's is a joke I have proof of everything I'm saying. Speaking my truth. They don't even get a star in my experience but it made me put one.

There's a reason the staff are striking right now and it shows in the way Kaiser treats the ones who keeps them running as well as their patients. As a patient transferring in from a PPO Kaiser's level of care, the prescription medication options, and specialized care options falls way short. Kaiser denied previously prescribed medications and substituted others which impacted my health. Their referral and review process is painstakingly slow taking weeks and months before approval is granted. Can't wait for open enrollment so I can get out to take better care of my health issues.

Not a member any more but thinking about returning. Thought I'd check Yelp. You need to delete picture #18. Very inappropriate.

I've been in medicine for 35 years. Some of their Family medicine doctors aren't that great. However, Dr. LISA THAYER is spectacular. I've known her some 8 years and she is consistently kind, thorough, and amazing. Ask for her! Barbara RN

Avoid this pharmacy. First, ordered the wrong medication for me. Second, would not fill my entire prescription, but recommended I go to another Kaiser to get it filled! Makes no sense.

I have had Kaiser since the 70s and I've been very pleased with my care up to the time of Covid. Since Covid it's really difficult to get help. Appointments are very difficult to make within a reasonable amount of time. Seems to be a lack of communication and good customer service. I wasn't feeling good so I went to urgent care and was told that I did not have Covid after the tests. The results of the test did not show up on my recent test results and I got notified five a text/email that I had Covid. My doctor did not call me To discuss my test results and Membership Services said they were supposed to within 24 hours. This was not handled right and I ended up getting a new doctor at a new facility and she called me when I made the switch of doctors. I don't know if Kaiser has just gotten too big and is loosing control. The doctor at urgent care told me I did not have Covid. Why did this happen if a test determines that I don't have Covid then why did it come back again later telling me that I did have it. The only way I found out is calling Membership Services because it wasn't on my records in KP .org? Very frustrating.

This is a follow-up to the scathing review I left earlier. Just as in the story of the world's smartest mule, sometime you must take drastic measures to get the mule's attention. Apparently the same process applies to Kaiser. At Kaiser, your only real point of contact is your "service provider". The staff at Kaiser call them "Doctors", but I will hold that level of respect in abeyance until it is earned. I know a lot of stupid people with initials after their names. I contacted my "provider" several times (I don't even know his exact name, so for the sake of this discussion, I will simply call him "The Hack" as he personifies a cubicle-dwelling bureaucrat). Occasionally, I would receive a response. Out of utter frustration at the way my case was being handled, I blew up and sent the Hack a letter full of "salty" language and accusations. Now don't get me wrong, I stand by everything I said and I make no apologies. I meant every foul word I said. Upon receipt of my message, he must have immediately gone crying to his mommy, as he wasn't man enough to respond directly to me. I soon received a phone call from a "Project Manager" somewhere back East. The PM said I was going to be placed on "Double Secret Probation" if I were to use such language again. Then he also admitted he read the entire history of me asking for help and getting none. I was advised that people were looking into things and making some investigations. I was asked to go back to the Kaiser office and given the opportunity to change providers which I jumped on instantly. I received a letter from Kaiser's grievance department asking if I wanted to include more information in my complaint. You can bet they will receive a well-written and fully understandable reply from me that will feature the Quack, the Hack, and the MacMack prominently. These people have no business in medicine and would probably do quite well working for the DMV. In one office visit, my new doctor (yes, I will give him that respect) has spent 5000% more time with me than the Quack and the Hack did in the year and a half I've been with Kaiser. He did a series of tests and discovered I was in sad shape. He wanted to send me to the Emergency Room for some work, but I declined saying let's treat one issue at a time with my lungs being the first thing. He listened to me, we understood each other; so at this point I would say things appear much better, and at this point in time, I don't see the need for any more salty language. Although the turn-around in Kaiser's indifference to my condition is indeed astounding, and I'm thrilled I can actually TALK to my doctor, who will actually LISTEN to me, I still only give them three stars. The jury is still out. If things continue the way they have in the past couple of days, perhaps I'll come back and give more stars. Time will tell.
